IC NEWS.As newleaf reaches the forest, things seem to have improved for most of the clans. . . but ThunderClan. After wolves entered their territory to track a herd of deer, they were quick to attack an unguarded camp. The fastest ThunderClanners took the grim responsibility of baiting the wolf pack to the gorge. While successful, many lives were lost. Howlingstar decided to propose an addition to the Warrior Code: Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name. This way, eager warriors would not repeat the mistake that cost ThunderClan greatly. In this time of death, ShadowClan digs their own graves: Chilledstar deals with the loss of their life as well as the threat to two apprentices. Perhaps with Siltcloud's death, things will finally begin to heal? SkyClan has proposed a rule of their own: No SkyClanner will insult or discriminate against a Clanmate for their origin. In a more lighthearted turn of events, they also find twolegs doing something strange along their border... Is it just the warmer weather affecting them? WindClan seems to have noticed it too, though theirs is in blossoming flowers, and the new exit of their tunnel. One that leads them right towards RiverClan's border... They've seen nothing of note however, not even Ravensong's mysterious disappearance, or the rogues that they have driven out. The warm newleaf weather and the splashing of newborn river creatures is quite obvious, at least! |

Wedged between the thunderpath, gorge, and Horseplace, the dry moors stretch for as far as the eye can see. The lack of cover here is seen as a danger to some and a blessing to others, as there is nothing separating its inhabitants from the starry sky.

A boggy marsh situated between thunderpaths, the ground here is muddy, damp, and covered in pine needles. Prey is scarce in this place, so the frogs and toads that live near the stagnant pools of water make up the main diet of the cats that live here.

The heart of the territories, this oak forest is thick with undergrowth and abundant with mice and squirrels. Clumps of ferns, brambles, and gorse make hunting difficult for those not trained to move within them.

This place is named for the four towering oak trees that stand firm amongst the undergrowth. In the center of the trees is a steep-sided clearing with a large, jagged boulder known as the Great Rock planted in the middle.
