Hey! Watch this!” Snickering, the male would glance below him at the rest of the patrol, preparing himself for his “trick.” Reckless activities such as this were some of the things that really got his blood pumping. It wasn’t like he’d ever developed any injuries because of his behavior. That he could recall anyway. As idiotic as he may be acting, he knew that some of his clanmates didn’t approve of his actions, worrying over his well being instead of thinking he was “cool.” With annoyed calls of his clanmates to continue their hunt, he chuckles softly to himself before leaping out of the tree, smoothly rolling his hind end over his head before landing awkwardly on his paws. Initially, the pain that sprang into his forepaw was almost enough to knock him off his feet. Rather than allowing his clanmates to see they were right about something, he decided to play it off, quickly allowing his paw to gently touch the ground in his best attempt at acting like everything was fine.

// he just has a mild sprain (right front paw) that he is attempting to hide! y/c can be worried over him or think he’s cool, he’ll eat up either reaction!!

INFO Since Blazestar allowed Ikaros to get the lay of the land, he's done his part carrying his weight. Hunting is relaxing for him; he's always found he unwinds best when entirely focused on a singular task, especially one as simple as searching for prey and waiting for the opportune moment to strike. He's nearly always hunted alone, however, and SkyClan's custom –tradition? rule?– of sending several cats together is odd to him, and he hasn't yet asked why they need hunting parties. Patrols, whichever.

It hadn't bothered him. It doesn't bother him now, but he wasn't expecting one of the other clan cats to leap out of a tree with ridiculous form— and survive, barely. Try as he might to disguise the consequences of his stunt, Ikaros saw that landing and the reaction he couldn't immediately stifle.

Ikaros stares at him, long and hard. Finally, when he knows he won't snort with laughter, he suggests, "Climbing down breaks fewer bones. You should maybe give it a try next time— you can never go wrong with the classics." But there are many, many ways to go wrong trying to add a spin on older methods— pun intended. "Should I carry you, or can you roll back?"

Cattleheart was honestly blown away by his trick just as if she was his age despite her being close to the middle aged group. Her mouth opened a bit with surprise and her eyes widened with a blink. She chuckled a bit, walking over to Fog without hurry with her tail held high in a friendly manner. She knew the other had possibly harmed themself from watching closely to see if his stunt caused any harm, noting the foot he wasn't putting much pressure on. These were things she had to learn by herself when growing up on the farmlands, stupid choices win you stupid prizes. She knew him doing these things can cause him harm but she also knew it built character and taught himself to be more careful next time. Practice made perfect and if he kept it up without seriously injuring himself she knew he would have potential. Atleast, that was how she learned. She didn't have parent figures for a long time, she just had herself and the farm animals. "Wow! That was an amazin' stunt darlin'! I encourage ya ta go practice more, landing on y'ur paws that way can do some damage." She chirped before glancing over to Ikaros and nodding to his comment. She then pointed her paw towards Fog, glancing over him, "Also, are ya alright love?" She asked, gazing closely to the paw she didn't see much weight being held on.

A wince crumpled his features at Fogwatcher's descent, a clumsy tumble with grace that would rival even the death of a bird mid-flight. Olivine eyes shocked saucer wide- why was everyone watching, with a smile? Did they not know how dangerous a descent was? Well, one of them did- two of them, noting damage and broken bones, but their tones stayed level, light, unconcerned. What was wrong with them- had they seen that much violence in their lives that a tumble such as this was worth absolutely no concern?

Scrabbling forward, Twitchpaw let his gaze befall the paw that the other had appeared to land on funny- touching the ground without even. shrug, unconcerned by the sensation. Was he... could he just not feel it? He'd heard, whispered in the haunted wind, tales of how limbs went numb right before they were about to fall off. How would he cope if Fogwatcher's paw just dropped right off, right in front of him? How would he ever be able to unsee it? "Can you still feel it!?" A blurt that rattled trees in its screechy volume, tippling with panic, he cold do nothing but look.

I keep trying to find me

"Could you teach me that?" Sparkpaw quipped excitedly, not realizing that Fogwatcher had harmed himself, despite everyone clearly voicing their concerns over the warrior. Truth be told the apprentice was quite impressed with what she had seen that she had not realized that Fogwatcher had actually harmed himself. Her ears twitched forward while her paws sparked with eagerness, but it did not take her long to realize the full situation, and embarrassingly began to look at the others and clear her throat. "Uhm... maybe when you perfect it, of course, are you...alright like Cattleheart said..." she shuffled her paw, finding herself standing near Twitchpaw.

Sparkpaw did really find it cool, but she was sure that the others...will be advising the young apprentice against doing such a stunt but it looked so cool so maybe...she'll try it when no one was looking? Hey, it couldn't be that bad, besides. Fogwatcher might've clumsily landed but he seemed fine despite the other's concerning over him, what could possibly go wrong if she tried the stunt herself? She'll....just have to do it when no one was watching, yeah!
