Hunter BLOODHOUND: they / them; nonbinary; 16", 15lbs. – an f3 snow bengal hybrid. swift and precise, they are an excellent hunter and warrior. their body is a finely honed weapon.

✦ honorable, loyal, reserved: being a hybrid, and having experience as an indoor-outdoor house cat has given Bloodhound a strange... interpretation of faith, specifically in Starclan. their bengal mother would teach them to kill wild prey, and offer it as sacrifice to her own deity. at first, it seemed like a game to them, one Bloodhound happily played along with. as time passed, and they were adopted out to another family, the growing little hybrid ended up being too much for their adoptees, freaking out at the loss of their family. the moment they were let out, they escaped, seeking the wide open wilds of their mother's youth, if they could not have her warmth once more. they were never found again.

they were a loner for some time before approaching the clans, taking care of themself and their own needs. eventually, they would tire of their solitude, an ache in their chest that called them to find a home, and approach Shadowclan. upon being accepted into the clan, Bloodhound learned the warrior code, and clan laws and kept them fiercely to heart. they are a warrior, after all. they finally feel at peace, at home, somewhere. they are quiet and tend to keep to themself, and will put distance between them and others around them, if uncomfortable. they hide a fear of abandonment, behind their mysterious front. they consider every offering to the fresh kill pile an offering to Starclan, every drop of blood spilled, a sacrifice. they believe all life is precious, and all life is to be guided kindly to starclan, without suffering or fear. they embody this in battle, never fighting dirty, and refusing to kill without cause. willing to kill out of mercy.

they cherish the ties of family and clan above all, adopted or not. while they are not exactly an open book, and don't usually have many friends, there is little they won't do to assist or help another clanmate, if they're able.
