A coy and confident woman, Halfshade is good-looking and she knows it, walking proudly around her clan and never once taking anything lying down. She is happily mated to the deputy Smogmaw and is one of his more fierce supporters when it comes to clan politics.

Was named Halfshade for the dual-tones of her coat: The mismatch of her eyes and the soundless and sultry manner of her walk that makes her almost ghost-like in her stealth.

➸ Halfshade is a longhaired and curly furred queen with an elegance to her that does not seem to mesh well with ShadowClan but she happens to fancy the place just fine. Her tortbie coloring is muted while not dilute, making her very vibrant when compared to her more dark-coated clanmates and she is rarely seen ruffled or unpolished. Her paws and claws are often seldomn seen dirty as she walks with a high gait and confident strut that keeps her tail high and her pelt from touching the grimy floor of their home; her cleanliness is almost mystifying.

- A scar running from the lower half of her chest all the way along her belly, it's hidden in her fur 99% of the time.
- Beneath her plush pelt are several rat bite scars, only really visible on her legs and a few on her flank, the tip of her left ear has a notch and a prominent scar runs across her nose from the carrionplace incident-though the nose scar is the fault of Pitchstar in his accidental panic.

CONFIDENT ─ SASSY ─ OPIONATED ─ ELEGANT ─ ALLURING➸ A saccharine sweetheart and cunning she-cat, Halfshade presents herself as poised and elegant but is hardly haughty and her confidence never leans into arrogance. She is very aware of her own faults and failings and humbles herself for it. She's pointedly cheerful, very forward and is openly affectionate to her clanmates so much its hard to tell that she isn't related to anyone with how often she coddles them like a loving partner or harried mother. She is quick to offer assistance but only if she feels capable of it, she's intelligent and rarely dips her toes into things she doesn't know without first consulting a more experienced soul. Halfshade's playfulness might come across as naivity but she is far from some giggling airhead; there is a more malicious side of her she does not hesitate to exude should the situation call for it and despite her preference to remain clean she is not particular about getting her paws dirty.
