  Shrikethorn is a model daughter. In her youth there was a spark to her, a fire, one that often seemed to draw her towards trouble. She bore her father's anger, her mother's ambition, and a terrible jealous streak; she was a child at odds with the world around her. A brat, vying for victory -- and more importantly, her mother's attention -- through any means necessary. But such a rebellious streak was not becoming of the leader's child, and Shrikethorn soon learned to quell the flame within her.
  
  She became small. Shuttered herself off. Her face bears a stony look most days, a cold and distant gaze. Her tone is measured, leashed. Clipped, at the worst. She keeps her head down, prays to the stars above, and works hard to be a warrior that WindClan can be proud of.
