───── Welcome to WindClan's Mass Adopts! If you're wanting to come join WindClan, or experience the clan again through another character's eyes, this is the place to look! Here you can find characters and relations of all sorts that our community has decided to adopt out to be played by those who are intrigued by the concepts here!

But if you're definitely in the right place and still interested in adding a fresh WindClanner to your roster, please check out our rules in the next tab before browsing the concepts up for adopt in the limited slot adopts tab for relations or adopts with, as you may assume, limited slots! These adopts will close once they have reached a certain number. OR, you could check out unlimited slot adopts for open concepts that will not close regardless of applicants! (Unless things get incredibly overwhelming, but we don't expect that!)

Make sure to read and follow all of these before grabbing the application form!
01. Follow all site rules. WindClan HPs have the right to decline an application if your form breaks the rules of the site, mass adopts, or the litter itself.
02. These adopts are intended for WindClan! Characters must remain in WindClan for at least two months after adoption before moving to another group or leaving.
03. Try to meet the activity requirements. Though WindClan HPs will be accepting these adopts, the owners of the relation or litter are able to rehome the slot should the adopt not meet the activity requirements they put in place.
04. Wait for approval before posting! You will receive a "like" and a ping from a WindClan HP stating that your character is accepted, if the requirements have been met! Please do not make an account or post until we have done so.

Genetics:

Age & Aging Rules: between 22-27 moons old as of 06/01, aging real time on the first of each month
Genetics:
- character comes with two options of preset appearance
- character must be AFAB (any identity allowed)
- longhair or shorthair allowed
- genetics listed are what they must breed as; chimeras, stylization, and some minor changes (additional carries/recessives) are allowed but the base genetics must stay the same
EITHER:
- black w/ low white, polydactyly (carrying dilute, point)
- blue tabby w/ low white (carrying solid, sepia)
Rules:
- activity requirement must be maintained. rehoming of this slot (but not the character) will be done as necessary should activity requirements not be met for two months consecutively.
- this character is a plot character. beside the main plot of peri having a friend to lean on, there are open ended opportunities for smaller plots within their friendship, and (should the character remain active in Dec 2025) they will be given opportunity to take part in a major plot. details on the major plot can/will be dm'd after adoption, but participation is up to user discretion.
Desired Activity: at least 2 posts per month unless an IA notice is given.
Other: This character is a back written friend to Periwinklebreeze. Once on good terms as apprentices, Peri going on the journey right after getting his warrior name threw a wrench in things, as Peri came back quite changed and then Windclan was thrown into a state of rebellion. The dynamic had shifted, changed again and again without time to adjust, and the two were left floundering. With the death of Nightingalecry he and y/c grow closer once more - his need for a shoulder to lean (and cry) on driving them to rekindle their friendship. Things are likely still a bit awkward between them, because neither of them are the same kits they once were - but it doesn't make them any less fond of each other as they rebuild their trust and friendship.

Age & Aging Rules: 2 Moons (age realistically on the 3rd of every month)
Genetics:
Sire: SH black smoke low white (masking mackerel tabby; carrying non-silver, classic tabby)
Dam: SH tortoiseshell low white (masking classic tabby)
Toms can be black, black smoke, red tabby, or red cameo
Mollies can be black, black smoke, tortoiseshell, or tortie smoke
- kits will be shorthaired
- kits will have low white
- kits can have any realistic eye color barring blue
- kits will mask either the mackerel tabby pattern or classic tabby pattern
- silver kits will carry non-silver; kits masking the mackerel tabby pattern will carry the classic tabby pattern
Rules: - I would like for the kits to have storm/weather based names (as they’ll be named for the storm that extinguished the fire): Lightning, Thunder, Rain, Storm, Gust, Gale, Hail, Sleet, surge, etc
- Free reign for the most part (though I'd like to be informed with any death/maiming plots while they're kits)
- Absolutely can be angsty especially if they fail at being perfect kits in their moms eyes
Desired Activity: For early moons casual is all good! Would of course like increased activity when they get older
Other: These kits were born almost directly following the fire to a seasoned queen named Ravencry. Who will raise these kits to be the best of the best, they're mother is strict and will likely be hard on them if they're weak or don't rise to her expectations. It's likely that if they don't when they're apprentices they will be cut off and essentially disowned like Firefang was. These kits are aware of their older littermates including Firefang (who avoids the nursery whenever she can).

Relations: Firefang's mom, also the mother to Smokestep, Cinder(blank), and the younger litter, also likely has mothered other unnamed litters as a rogue
Age & Aging Rules: 59 moons ages every 13th realistically
Genetics: SH tortoiseshell low white (masking classic tabby)
Rules: - Free reign you can do mostly whatever you want with her
- Would like to keep her personality harsh, open to development of course but it's unlikely she'd ever become a good person/mom
Desired Activity: Active if possible! Not insanely but would like to see her around
Other: A seasoned queen of Windclan. Formerly a rogue who wandered near the territories and particularly the moors - joined Windclan shortly after its founding with her recently born kits and raised them to be loyal windclan warriors (and tunnelers). Disowned her daughter Firefang when she failed to be the ladder and put shame on her family. Despite vocally being a supporter of Sootstar throughout her kits early lives once she saw the rising conflict in her clan she became a "rebel" not for believing or caring for their cause but because she felt they were more likely to win. Has been keeping her head down, to prove her loyalty she’d decided to have another litter to make the clan stronger in numbers. The father of both of her litters is assumed to be a kittypet, but she is very unlikely to reveal the identity of her kits father.

Age & Aging Rules: 25 Moons ages every 10th
Genetics:
Sire: SH black smoke low white (masking mackerel tabby; carrying non-silver, classic tabby)
Dam: SH tortoiseshell low white (masking classic tabby)
Toms can be black, black smoke, red tabby, or red cameo
Mollies can be black, black smoke, tortoiseshell, or tortie smoke
- kits will be shorthaired
- kits will have low white
- kits can have any realistic eye color barring blue
- kits will mask either the mackerel tabby pattern or classic tabby pattern
- silver kits will carry non-silver; kits masking the mackerel tabby pattern will carry the classic tabby pattern
Rules: - can have any suffix chosen but would prefer them to keep the prefix cinder
- they were AMAB
- will be a tunneler
- free reign for the most part but would like to be informed if you kill them off
Desired Activity: active preferably; like to see them monthly
Other: Firefang’s other sibling; a dutiful and likely talented tunneler. Who worked even hard to be the best he could and make his mom proud after the incident that had Smokestep injured and Firefang reassigned to being a moorrunner (and cut off by their mother). Has kept his head down most of their life and does as they’re told, however put their lot in with the rebels during the rebellion alongside their mom. Mostly a blank slate go wild with their personality!

Genetics:
Toms can be black, black tabby, blue, blue tabby, chocolate, chocolate tabby, lilac, lilac tabby, red tabby, or cream tabby
Mollies can be black, black tabby, blue, blue tabby, chocolate, chocolate tabby, lilac, lilac tabby, tortoiseshell, torbie, blue tortie, blue torbie, chocolate tortie, chocolate torbie, lilac tortie, or lilac torbie
- kits can be longhaired or shorthaired
- kits can have no white, low white, or high white
- kits without white can have any realistic eye color barring blue; kits with white can have any realistic eye color
- tabby kits will display the spotted tabby pattern or broken mackerel tabby pattern; solid kits will mask either tabby pattern
- red kits will mask black, black tabby, chocolate, or chocolate tabby
- cream kits will mask blue, blue tabby, lilac, or lilac tabby
- black-based kits will carry chocolate; shorthaired kits will carry longhaired, tabby kits will carry solid; non-dilute kits will carry dilute

- Must stay in Windclan unless there is a good plot reason (please communicate with Tempest!)
- Any (natural) name is allowed! Brownie points for names of moorland flowers, as their mother would have considered them a symbol of luck, rejuvenation, and prosperity.

Age & Aging Rules: Must have been 6 moons old at a minimum as of November 2022, putting them at a minimum of 22 moons now.

Rules:
- These characters would have been hostile and rogue-like as they came to WindClan. They were a morally grey group intended to follow Sootstar to the end. Those that remain in WindClan are the odd ones out.
- These characters are almost required to have some sort of bond with Sunstar, the current leader. As he was once part of this rogue group, they would at the very least have known him for 20 moons. If they were loyal to Sootstar and switched sides only at the end of their leadership, please reach out to plot with me either on-site or through our discord server to see how the clan would treat them currently!
- Please read the background / plotline listed in this thread very thoroughly before applying.

Rules:
- These characters would have chosen to join WindClan after their stay in the barn. Sunstar offered everyone who helped them the opportunity to join their clan!
- They would have been given their clan name in Sun's first meeting, should they have joined at that time. However, should you wish to write your character joining now, Sunstar would still accept them as long as they are accepted here and it is backwritten that they helped WindClan during their rebellion.
- These characters should remain in WindClan for a minimum of two months.
