Dustkit was restless and bored and boredom was something the kitten couldn't handle being for long, so she had come up with some ideas in her head great ones at that. From pranking her cousins, digging holes outside the apprentices den but it was her third idea that struck her and got her on her paws; exploring the moors outside of camp! She was gonna be an apprentice in a couple moons but two moons was like a lot of time and she couldn't just sit and wait all patient and good when there was a wide world to roam and so much to sniff! However she knew that she wouldn't get a single paw outside camp unless she had help - an accomplice - she thought of asking one of the apprentices maybe Sheeppaw or better Pinkpaw but she worried they'd tell dad and then he'd tell her no. So that was a no go but she had someone she could rely on with her life close by; her dear brother!
Convincing him had took some time but she knew he was always up for a good game and making this into one instead of a serious mission of stealth had been her play! So they set off, her the cleverest, bravest and most stealthy kit in the clan and her brother her eyes! "If we stay close to the bushes we'll be like unspottable! Stay close to me Bilberrykit this is gonna be awesome!" she meows excitedly to him as she begins to creep under the shadows of the gorse. She believed it'd be easy, they shouldn't run into problems cause why would any warrior be looking for kits in the bushes? That wasn't where they normally played. She is unaware of one very important detail that put a thorn in her plans and it was that both her and her brother were as pale as moonlight no amount of shadows would ever disguise them but even if she knew that it wouldn't dissuade her. And well the gorse bushes weren't as full as they used to be!
She moves with purpose, crouched low and moving as quickly as she can. Her tail is held high and curled happily at it's tip, her paws crunch against the debris beneath the bushes but she doesn't notice. She just follows the path knowing she's staying on track because her pelt snags on burnt branches occasionally. She turns her head again "If you see anyone coming tell me and we'll run in opposite directions! They won't be able to catch us both!" maybe if he was her diversion she could get out the entrance and begin 'mapping' out the moors!
