Firefang as an apprentice had always worked hard until her body could no longer physically handle the weight of her own body, for moons when she'd still been a paw she'd cast away self preservation and often her own health to to serve her clan always volunteering for whatever her mentor(s) didn't make her do. It's the reason why she still bares the nasty scar from her first true fight on her flank, she hadn't cared to rest and allow the poultices to do their work in kneading flesh back together slowly no even when she returned from battle she was quick to throw aside her pain to chase away traitors and tear those wounds before they even had a chance to mend. She's no stranger to again - she practically invites it upon herself most of it served a greater purpose it showed her strength and fortitude to some and to her and showed her stupidity and lack of self-preservation to others. However there were types of pain she didn't wish to feel strike and rend into her flesh, she'd finally was settling down for the night in her nest only for the moment she flops onto he side only to be met with piercing pain as sharp things plunge through her fur and into the skin on her back and unmarred side.

Unbeknownst to her someone had snuck thorns into her nest. She leaps up almost comically high, a sharp pained yowl crying out from her. Her neck cranes teeth biting instinctually at whatever had hurt her only for them to grip and tear out one of the now bloody thorns, she spits it out at her paws and it doesn't take her long to put two and two together some clever funny little fuck thought they could just mess with her. Her claws unsheathe and teeth grit, and she knows just the funny little fuck who had the balls to do something like this and she was gonna make him pay. The pain of the thorns pales in comparison to her anger and it's exactly that feeling that has always been her drive. It clouded judgement and pain and made her capable of inflicting so much more then she was dealt. Dazzlepaw was gonna feel her wrath.

She rushes over to where he "sleeps' and if he doesn't bolt her unsheathed paw would strike out to attempt to harshly slap the smirk off his face regardless she would yowl ❝Think you're hot shit now huh, think you can just get away with messin' with me?!❞

You know, there was a reason to why Dazzlepaw was one of those who slept outside in the open under the starry sky and not had it anything to do with their ancestors. No, no, no, not something as boring like that. It was so he easily could get away if someone was coming for him. With all of his miscevious schemes in the clan the troublemaker obviously needed a fast escape way. That was why he slept outside and considering what he just recently had pulled with his new found 'friends' Dazzlepaw knew about the storm that would follow. He was only pretending to sleep in his nest while waiting in excitement for the show to begin!.

Dazzlepaw could hear when the enraged warrior rushed out of the den and since he was so curious he could die opend one of his eyes to see where Firefang were going and she was coming right his way!. Unfortunately with the reputation he had in the clan the first culprit who would get suspected over the prank would of course be him. Not could he say he was suprised thought!.

Prepared for the attack that would come Dazzlepaw would quickly jumped out from his nest, dodging his furious clanmates unsheathed claw in the process. But wow it had been close to scratching the fur off his head!. How scary. Dazzlepaw would be quick to face them with that smirk she hated so much as he was ready to back away if she made an approach towards him. " So you're finally admitting that i'm hot!. Took you long enough but i will accept the confession ! ~~ " he would grin at her, words spilling out that could earn him a slap right across his face!.

Taking some few stept back he titled his head a bit faking to look puzzled " I'm afraid you must be a bit more specific. I've no idea what you mean by messing...unless you mean messing with ya heart?, in that case...i'll take full responsibility for it!." he winked at her knowing he was throwing gasoline to the fire but man he couldn't help himself although he had to admit Firefang looked very scary when she was angry!. She looked ready to burn him alive. Hah!. This had so been worth it.

The moment she heard Firefang yowl, she wanted to burst into laughter. It delighted her so much!! She covered her muzzle to hide her grin, even if she was curled in the opposite direction of the scene. She never felt so giddy in her life! Oh, she should do this more often!

She listened as her wrath was pinned on Dazzlepaw, and she decided it was time to intervene. It was her idea, and even though he helped, Dazzlepaw didn't deserve the brunt of Firefangs wrath. So she got up and strode over to the two.

"He didn't do it." She said, then tilted her head. "I did."

She wasn't afraid of getting hit, if Reedstrike taught her anything, it was how to remain unflinching in the face of violence and how to read an opponents body to predict their movements.

"Figured you should have a nest as nasty as you are." She added, staring her dead in the eye.

She would be punished, but you know what? She would have fun getting there!

STEADY THE RIGHTS AND THE WRONGS
periwinklepaw | 07 months | demi-boy | he/they | physically easy (pacifist) | mentally easy | attack in bold #ccccff
Unable to fall asleep so early, Periwinklepaw has yet to retreat into the safety of the medicine den. And so he is there to bear witness to their wonderous results... and firefangs disasters reaction. "h-hh-ey!" soft voice calls out, startled, frantic, as the long-legged feline is quick to scramble to his paws. "Th-th-the heck! H-he d-didn't even d-d-do anything!" he's already shouting - or at least, the closest to shouting that his soft voice can mange in his distress.

Dazzlepaw is quick to deny everything - perhaps he should've as well, but Azaleapaw is already stepping up to take the blame. And he feels... guilty. He'd taken part just as much. Should he say something? He's not sure. Instead, He's quick to try and shove his way between the three, his larger figure a protective barrier between his younger friend and Firefang. "Wh-why would you j-j-just pick a random c-c-clanmate to attack w-without any p-p-proof?" he snaps - as though dazzlepaw hadn't in fact participated. As though it hadn't been a plot between the three of them from the start. To be fair, it doesn't matter to him that she had been unknowingly correct in her guesses. He's upset that she'd had such a pitiful, violent reaction to something so harmless, that she'd dared to try and hurt his friends. "it w-w-was just a st-stupid prank - s-s-some warrior you are!"

This isn't a situation that they need to insert themself into. Firefang can continue telling off the troublemakers, and then Gravelpaw can roll over and go back to sleep. And that's their plan, until they hear Azaleapaw step in to take the blame for what they assume is Dazzlepaw's doing. And it surely is Dazzlepaw's doing, because he doesn't even deny it and only makes comments that cause Gravelpaw's hackles to raise. But Azaleapaw doesn't stop at just taking the blame—she calls Firefang nasty, as though Azaleapaw herself even deserves to be in WindClan. Kittypet.

The black-patched apprentice—almost a warrior, Gravelpaw thinks to himself—stalks over to stand beside Firefang, not intruding upon her space, but observing. Close enough to take action, if any of these idiots decides to pounce. "At least she isn't pathetic," he snipes back, baring his teeth at the younger cats. It's not as though Firefang truly needs his help, he thinks, but he's grown sick of hearing harsh words slung from the mouths of weaklings who can't back them up. If they truly had any spine, they'd have approached Firefang and called her names to her face, rather than sneaking around her nest like kits.

He turns on Periwinklepaw next, glare landing somewhere around the other apprentice's chest. He can't make eye contact, not without remembering the way the other had gifted him something that he holds dear. So he settles for a sneer that doesn't feel as sharp as it should. "You're one to talk about being a warrior," he grits out, words tasting like sand on his tongue. "Seeing as you'll never be one. You're hardly even a WindClanner." The thought crosses their mind of Periwinklepaw's mother, long gone from the moors—at least my mother didn't abandon me . But they don't say it aloud. They don't even have their own mother, and bringing up family would only give the younger cats more ammunition.

[ DEATH OF A DREAM ]

She supposes there must be some excitement to getting your butt whooped after a long time coming, Dazzlepaw had practically been asking for someone to rip into him with just how much of a annoyance he was. Firefang was happy to be the one to teach him some respect, the squirrely bastard was quick though which only made him all the more guilty in her eyes. He must've been lying in wait, probably laughing and grinning to himself the little rat-bastard! What made him think he'd get away with this, why had he even developed the bravery in the first place or was it straight stupidity and impudence that led him to picking a fight with her. She may not have liked him before, thought he was a mouthy good for nothing taking up space while his sister sprinted on past him and she still thinks that way now too but now he thinks he's invulnerable that he's beter then her - treats her like she's a joke. She's not a joke! She's not! Treatin' her like she was stupid well she was the opposite of that! She was smart! Smarter then him!

She cringes at him, at his words completely getting the wrong idea and trying to inspire more aggression in her heart. He had a deathwish but at least this time he keeps Icebreath's name out of his unworthy mouth. Everytime she steps she kept prowling closer fur continuing to spike, she was already large for a windclanner it only made that fact more pronounced. She hisses at him a growl following it distorting the sound ❝You're as hot as a badger carcass! And if you don't start runnin' you'll have way more in common with one❞ she spits out, she gathers her strength in her legs preparing to pounce at him to send him lunging into the moorlands to chase him like a hare when a voice blurts in.

How easy it is to get her attention, she faces her ire burning in her gaze; Azaleapaw's visage reflects in them captured and broiled in their flames. The one good thing about Dazzlepaw that Azaleapaw would never have in common with him was the fact he was wild-born. Like it or not he had some semblance of belonging, but this she-cat nah this overgrown kit would never belong. How she's survived this long without running away to be scooped up by some twoleg if not snapped up by a dog is the only surprising thing about her. For as much as she disliked Dazzlepaw and so many of the other apprentices who weren't up to snuff she wouldn't say she wished any true harm on them, other then the taste of her claws rending their flesh to teach them lessons their mentors should've been teaching. But for Azaleapaw and Silverpaw she would look forward to the day they were rid of them. They wouldn't last here, Azaleapaw challenging her was a clear show of that.
She glares down at her not speaking as if it took all the willpower in her body to keep her from lunging at her. The throbbing from the couple of thorns that still poke through her fur and skin are hardly even recognized anymore they just blend in with her heartbeat and the static sound in her head; the roar of her anger. Finally words spit out of her ❝You won't be able to lay in your nest after I'm done carving you up kittypet again she is stopped just in the nick of time another cat comes sliding between them; seemed the pathetic apprentices had all found kinship in each other. How gross, she reckons she can take them all on if they try anything it'd be like batting away flies! She hardly cares to listen to him, his chokes out stuttered words weren't worth taking in to her; he was just trying to cover for the asses of his peers without caring that he'd be lumped with them and face the same wrath. He was always a mouseheart pretending to be brave.

Her ears perk however at the sound of Gravelpaw approaching having likely been roused by the disturbance of the young warrior and the apprentices 'squabble' that was quickly turning far more serious with every word hissed. She appreciates their words, if only these three were more like him, focusing on getting stronger rather then trying to start whatever this was with her. She moves quickly and without even hissing anything towards Periwinklepaw in warning she'd lunge forward one unsheathed paw batting harshly towards him in an attempt if it connected to slam into his face ❝Stay out of this!❞

The scent of milk clings to her pelt upon departing from the nursery. Blood of a vole is speckled around her maw, a meal she had shared with her kittens. Her stomach was still rumbling, the growing kits had ate a majority of the meal combined, yet she doesn't seek the fresh-kill pile. She is tired and her mind is too troubled to want to stuff her belly.

Then the voice of Firefang fills the camp, an aggressive confrontation, it escalates quickly. She places blame and annoyance quickly, it was easy to do when one was of kittypet blood and their defender a traitors son it was easy to do. At the end of the day near nothing got more under her fur than apprentices who thought they could mouth it up to warriors, their superiors. She'd have to be dead and buried before she allowed youth to hiss and bicker with warriors!

Only she doesn't have the energy to deal with this herself. A quick head swerve and she's found her lead warriors conversing, "You three! Deal with this shit!" The squabbling apprentices and warriors most certainly heard her demand for them to be dealt with, she was far from quiet about it. She doesn't stick around, she retreats to the comfort of her den.

Cottonkit enjoys any and all time that she has with her family. It's rarer now than before that they all settle in for a meal together - after all, with the kittens gaining autonomy and Sootstar wrangling a Clan's worth of cats every day, the agenda becomes more and more muddled and harder to coordinate. It's more likely that she spends mealtime chattering away rather than eating her fair share, of course, but that's a sacrifice she's willing to make. Unfortunately for her, however, bickering from outside the nursery grows louder, more prominent. It eventually becomes shouting, aggression lacing each word (though she can't exactly decipher it all from in here.)

Sootstar departs to collect what dignity WindClan has left in its youth, and unsurprisingly the ever curious Cottonkit follows suit. She doesn't break rank from her mother, though she attempts a stern expression as she looks on to Dazzlepaw, Firefang, Periwinklepaw... all of them. She'd be a spitting image of her Sootstar, if not for the minute differences between them. Oh, and also for the fact that she's still petite and kittenlike. Sootstar barks a command to some lingering lead warriors, and Cottonkit follows it with a similarly hearty, "Yeah!" as if they needed her force to break up a fight.

Eyes snap toward Sootstar as her voice slices through the new-leaf air to pierce his ears, quickly followed by the much younger vocals of Cottonkit. Rising to his paws, Tigerfrost raises a feline brow, following his leader's gaze toward the developing scene just in time to see Firefang pouncing at Periwinklepaw. Oh dear, a brawl right in the middle of WindClan's camp, between a bunch of apprentices and a newly named Warrior, no less. Well, so much for his pleasant afternoon. Soostar retreats to her den, and the chimera masks his face with a dangerous scowl as he prowls toward the squabbling group of WindClanners. Like his leader, his eyes are initially accusatory toward the apprentices, rather than Firefang. It probably didn't help their case that Tigerfrost already trusted Firefang, and he was almost certainly not an unbiased party.

"Enough! What's going on here?" Vocals are firm and cold as he speaks, his flaming eyes directed in the form of a biting glare toward, primarily, Periwinklepaw and Azaleapaw. Two members of WindClan with very unsavory histories. A kittypet, and the blood of a known traitor. Gravelpaw and Dazzlepaw are both caught within that narrow vision as well, simply because they were close enough to be involved, even if Tigerfrost isn't yet certain who exactly was, beyond Firefang and the apprentice she had attacked. Well, she wouldn't have lunged like that unless Periwinklepaw had done something to cause it, the brute reasons, another opportunity for his apparent bias to be made clear, as Firefang appeared to be the only cat that Tigerfrost wasn't actively glaring at.

STEADY THE RIGHTS AND THE WRONGS
periwinklepaw | 08 months | demi-boy | he/they | physically easy (pacifist) | mentally easy | attack in bold #ccccff
For once, periwinklepaw realizes he is not afraid. Firefang is a nuisance, but she does not scare him - in fact, she's almost pathetic. Clear blue gaze seems to scream this thought a he stares her down disdainfully, taking the blow to his face with merely a stumble. He doesn't try to fight back - even with the fresh sting of new wounds upon his pelt. Gravelpaws words hurt worse than any wound she can inflict upon him anyways.

It seems the commotion has awoken their leader, for her voice rings out loudly within the camp. Where he had stood steadfast in firefangs presence, the boy now seems to shrink in upon himself, becoming smaller. He wonders if this is it - if he'll be hurt or killed or exiled all because of her. But their leader msut be feeling benevolent... or at least, unbothered, because she simply assigns tigerfrost to deal with it.

When the warrior asks for their stories, he does not bother to speak - he can see the outcome clear as day. Firefang won't even get a slap on the wrist for attacking an apprentice, for pinning the blame on the wrong culprit and responding with violence. Because sootstar favors her, as she does the more bloodthirsty of them. The child of a kittypet and the child of a traitor standing up for him has only made it worse for dazzlepaw.

A quiet sigh leaves his lips, hunched figure curling in on itself as though to become a smaller target, and still he says nothing. Only waits for the verdict.

TAGS Icebreath's run down from patrolling and more than half asleep when she hears pawsteps approaching the throng of settled-down warriors. Pale blue eyes reflexively crack open just a sliver and her weary heart flutters ever so slightly at the sight and scent of Firefang picking her way through the mass and toward her nest — and toward Icebreath, who just so happens to be resting very close by. Okay, maybe it was a little intentional. But she's placed herself just far enough away that maybe it's not super obvious; self-consciousness wouldn't allow her any closer even though she and Firefang have slept side by side in the past, atop the Tallrock during their stargazing session. The other molly's thick fur had just been so warm... and, like, she probably wouldn't make anything of it, anyway. That furball hadn't even realized the implications of calling Icebreath cute! Remembering that always makes them feel silly for thinking about it as much as they do, which isn't even that much because they're so determined not to fixate on something that obviously meant nothing to the other. But obviously they're kinda failing at that, aren't they? If they're still thinking about it and acting so weird and maybe even invasive like this moons after the fact... Ugh, this is stupid, they muse, shutting their eyes again and pretending to be asleep. It'd been a nice night and they'd really connected (far more than she'd expected), but she has to keep reminding herself that it hadn't really changed things between them; it's not like they're best friends now, or anything close to that. But Firefang has been nicer and nicer since then; her childhood bullying is becoming more and more a thing of the past, and she's clearly maturing a lot. Enough to want to make up for all the stupid, disrespectful stuff she used to say to Icebreath, clearly. Enough for Icebreath to already be agonizing over whether it'd be insanely weird to pretend to roll over in her sleep and "accidentally" snuggle up next to Firefang. Just for warmth.

Their heart's pounding as Firefang finally starts settling down close by — and it nearly bursts from shock as she swiftly springs back to her paws with a pained yowl. The little tunneler's head immediately shoots up, the fur along their spine bristling and their eyes stretching wide. Firefang's running off before they can process anything, making a beeline for the apprentices! They simply watch from her own nest, lowering their head almost to their forepaws, as she furiously swipes at Dazzlepaw — what had he done to her nest? And how is he not freaking out over being yelled at, even attacked, by a warrior? Then again, Firefang's hardly older than him and still freshly promoted. But still, age gap or not, Icebreath would be horrified if she were in his position; she thinks back to their apprentice days, to the time Firefang had really seemed like she was about to tackle Icebreath — in front of Lynxtooth, no less! She hadn't deserved it in the slightest, which Lynxtooth's discipline had reinforced, and she wants to think the other had merely been trying to intimidate her without any intention of actually attacking. This is very different; Firefang's out for (clearly deserved) vengeance and she has every right to enact it. They don't know Dazzlepaw well at all, but his reputation precedes him and whatever the hell's going on isn't helping his case. Icebreath's unable to muster much sympathy for such a disrespectful apprentice, and anything she manages is snuffed out when her curious gaze once more returns to Firefang's nest and finally locates the thorn she'd spat out. Good StarClan! What kind of sorry excuse for a WindClanner is he?

Azaleapaw's interruption travels just as well as the others' voices through the quiet camp, and the tunneler bristles. How moronic is she for saying that? For pulling such a stunt in the first place? Periwinklepaw's quick to jump to the insolent pair's defense; they feel like a united force against the warrior, spewing insults with a level of defiance she can't even fathom. Of course the troublemaker, the kittypet, and the traitor's son all flock together. Undeserving dead weights. She stares at them from her distanced position with a disdainfully wrinkled nose, watching as Gravelpaw joins in on the confrontation and the group all snap back and forth at each other. 'It was just a stupid prank,' Periwinklepaw reasons, and his flippancy just further proves to her that he has no concept of respect. Honestly, they're all lucky; if someone like Juniperfrost or Tigerfrost had been the recipient, all three apprentices would probably be maimed by now. Icebreath almost wishes they'd been so foolish.

Sootstar's angry command startles her, and she looks over to see the smokey leader ducking back into the nursery with Cottonkit in tow before turning her gaze toward Tigerfrost as he approaches the conflict. Thank goodness. They lash their tail, almost eager for the discipline that's sure to come. "They put thorns in Firefang's nest," she calls before she can even think about it. Though she's riding the high of her own moral superiority, nerves still seize her as the words fall from her lips; regardless of her ranking, Tigerfrost will always be an intimidating figure, she thinks. All the more reason to make sure he knows she doesn't condone this. Watching nervously from the sidelines has gotten her into hot water before, after all. Reaffirming her improving relationship with Firefang is another plus; the further she gets from the weakling that Firepaw used to pick on and the senior warriors used to look down on, the better and more secure she feels.

Reactions: Firefang

Awww, all of this flirting!. Firefang should really stop or he would melt into a puddle with all of this attention!. Dazzlepaw clearly stood there taking it all with a grin. " Whaaat, you wanna chase me?. I thought it was suppose to be the otherway around but...anything for m'lady!." He took a step back, crounching down a little bit as he prepared himself to take flight. But before the warrior made a move at him...they got interrupted. Azaleapaw had stept to take the blame instead.

Wow, okay, he had not been expecting that. Dazzlepaw was honestly fine with this. He could handle it. He was a master when it come to hit and take flight after all!. He could take a punch or two, but Azaleapaw. She was...four months old or something like that. Still she stepped up to him trying to play the hero...Dazzlepaw just stared as the attention was directed to the kit now. He did nothing then. Just falling into the background to observe. It didn't took long before Periwinklepaw would come to his defence as well. Now both of his partners in crime was in trouble. Huh. Why?. Why would they do this for him, out of all cats in the clan. Aha, did they thought they where friends now just because they had done a prank together?. How foolish of them. He was not a nice cat...they really should have picked a better cat to put their necks out for. He was not wor-

Dazzlepaw's eyes grow wide when Firefang out of the blue raised their paw to strike down on Periwinklepaw, slashing them right across their head. Oh. Oh. This was something else. Dazzlepaw didn't know why he felt the way he did in that very moment. He could have stayed quiet letting the two take the fall in this. Would be their fault to begin with. He had been handling this just fine on his own. No reason to play heroes in a clan there nothing of the sort even existed. It would have been better if they hadn't to let him take the fall. He would have been fine with that. Didn't they know?.

Sootstar noticed what was happening ordering her council to do something about it, and there come Tigerfrost and....

Dazzlepaw suddenly decided to move, a hum leaving him as he danced himself past everyone until he come to stand right beside Periwnklepaw, only then would he turn to face them all, his grin returned now bigger then ever. He would even take a close step to his denmate so his fur would brush aginst theirs in comfort as well to shelter them from his attacker, all while staring directly at Gravelpaw.

Yes, yes, he knew he shouldn't do this. He knew it very well and he probably couldn't change anything but he could try couldn't he, no?.

" They did not!. They did nothing. It was all me. I put the thorns in Firefangs nest because i have a maaaaajor crush on her and boys are being boys y'know?. You know what they say, boys bullies the ones they like ~~" he knew he was digging his own grave and he blamed these two for it all. " Azaleapaw and Periwinklepaw decided to stick up for me because well, i dunno why to be honest. Maybe they wanted me for themselves??. Anyhow, Firefang decided to answer that by using her claws against Periwinklepaw although...i'm sure her real target was Azaleapaw. So the one Firefang should use their claws against is me, not them." Dazzlepaw took a step forward his head lifted high, now wearing a smug smile.

" So just let them go and hit me instead. If you wanna beat me up to a bloody pulp go ahead. My pretty face can take it. " He could take it. Nothing new to him after all. This was the sort of place he was living in after all. There warriors got away with anything even hitting apprentices apperantly for a harmless prank nonetheless.

The smell of blood is irritating enough, but as Tigerfrost's flaming eyes catch upon the wounded apprentice, they only harden further. The blood of a traitor runs through their veins, and he's confident that Firefang would not have struck Periwinklepaw without justifiable cause. From the sidelines, there is Icebreath, and his eyes flicker toward her as she finally speaks where the rest remained silent. Put thorns in Firefang's nest? Truthfully, if Firefang had still been an apprentice, Tigerfrost would have simply told her to handle it herself. Tigerfrost knows that she is fiery tempered, and would have certainly been capable of handling any mean-spirited pranks with her own claws. But, now that she was a warrior, things changed quite a bit. Apprentices could not be allowed to show such disrespect to their superiors. After all, Firefang had earned her promotion. They were still paws for a reason. Periwinklepaw and Azaleapaw, especially.

Dazzlepaw is one he doesn't know quite so well, but he seems willing to take the fall for himself, claiming to be the one who is truely responsible for the so-called prank. Well, unfortunately for the apprentices, Tigerfrost is not so easy to convince. If Dazzlepaw had put thorns into Firefang's nest, then Azaleapaw and Periwinklepaw should have stayed out of it and allowed Firefang to punish the apprentice as she saw fit. Now, however, they were all in trouble, and the chimera Lead Warrior is not nearly so merciful as some of his fellow ranked WindClanners. Luckily for Gravelpaw, their name had not been included in Dazzlepaw's confession, so for now it seems the black and white apprentice has escaped Tigerfrost's ire.

"Firefang has earned her warrior name, so I expect WindClan's apprentices to show her some respect. Clearly, the three of you don't seem to understand that. And, if you're willing to show such disrespect to Firefang, then that makes me believe that you'd all show the same disrespect to any other WindClan Warrior." Tigerfrost's vocals are cold, his eyes akin to molten rock as they flicker between Periwinklepaw, Azaleapaw, and Dazzlepaw. "So, the three of you will be taught respect. For the next week, none of you will be permitted to eat unless you receive direct permission from Firefang herself. In addition to that, the three of you will also be expected to clean the elder's den and the nursery, and replace any bedding. You will also keep Firefang's bedding fresh, understood? And if a single thorn is found in her nest again, your punishments will be extended." He falls silent for a moment, lets it sink in. Then, turns his gaze upon Dazzlepaw.

"Since you seem to bare the most blame in this, Dazzlepaw, you will also be assigned to clean out the dirtplace for a week." Maybe that would wipe that smug little smile off his muzzle. After all, he was so willing to take all the punishment upon his shoulders. So be it, if he was truly the one responsible for the thorns, then he would be the one to suffer the most out of the three. Perhaps the other two would thank him, but Tigerfrost doesn't really care, so long as they all learn some respect. "Now, the three of you will be permitted water, but if I find out any of you so much as took a single bite out of any prey without Firefang's permission, rest assured you will regret it deeply." Harsh, perhaps, but Tigerfrost has no patience for rulebreakers. He was not a kind tom, and though he cared deeply for his clan, he would not tolerate troublemakers lurking within it. WindClan had suffered enough without dealing with even more rogue clan members.

And as for Dazzlepaw's little crush, he'd certainly have to learn to control himself, now that his stomach was at Firefang's mercy.

Tigerfrost turns his flaming vision toward Firefang herself, now, speaking gruffly, "Inform me if they decide to insult you or otherwise act disrespectful toward you in any way. How much they're allowed to eat, if at all, is entirely up to you for the next week." He informs the warrior. After all, she was victim in this, wasn't she? A humiliating lesson for the three apprentices, to be certain.

Their mouth twists into the smallest of smiles as Firefang lunges for Periwinklepaw, and the pointed apprentice doesn't even flinch. He does look chastised, however, when Sootstar shouts for one of her lead warriors to handle the situation—and Tigerfrost is the lead warrior who makes his way over. At first, the monochrome apprentice lifts their head smugly, but when the lead warrior turns his glare upon them, they simply stare back at him, lifting a questioning black brow.

Gravelpaw looks up to Tigerfrost, even admires him as a warrior, as a superior. But they aren't taking the blame for this—they can just see one of the problem kits throwing them to the foxes, pinning some kind of blame onto them. But instead, Dazzlepaw steps forward and (oh, so that's how it is?) brushes his pelt against Periwinklepaw's while staring at them, like he's making some kind of point. Their mouth curls into a silent snarl, exposing a sharp canine. If the lead warrior weren't standing so close, the red-furred apprentice would be the next to receive a slap to the face.

For a moment, this isn't about Firefang anymore. The night-black warrior at his side fades into the background, his ears filled with buzzing white noise as Dazzlepaw continues talking, barreling forth and digging himself an even deeper hole. Boys bully the ones they like. It strikes them, for a moment, and their gaze flickers to Periwinklepaw—but the troublemaker takes the blame, in the end, and Gravelpaw can only wait with gritted teeth to hear the apprentice's punishment.

Tigerfrost delivers their punishment with a blazing glare, and Gravelpaw glances over to Firefang. She is in control of whether these three will have any food for the next week; he hopes that she will make them suffer. Putting thorns in a warrior's nest, and then acting as though he did it because he has a crush on her, of all things? The rabbit-hearted maggot doesn't deserve to be a part of WindClan.

Their grin widens, lip drawing back to show off more of their teeth. "Sucks for them, huh," they say, not quite a question, to Firefang and Icebreath.
[ DEATH OF A DREAM ]

She bore her teeth at Gravelpaw and Firefang. All they were good for was spitting venom. She hated both of them. If they were in trouble, she just might let them die. Vile, wretched creatures, they were.

Firefang wants to shred her, and she almost wants her to. Go on. All Azaleapaw wants is a reason to crush one of her paws between her teeth. Gravelpaw too. They think they're so high and mighty. Her claws dug into the ground as she glares with such intense hatred at the the both of them. An intensity that only strengthened as Firefang struck at Periwinklepaw.

Her mouth parted to drip her own venom.

"Leave him alone, you shit spewing snakeheart." The words came out smooth and cold, laced with venom and hatred.

Was she snapping, finally?

She stepped Infront of Periwinklepaw protectively. A faint sense of dread ran down her spine as Sootstar called her lead warriors to get involved. She erased it, however. The fire of her anger burned it away.

Dazzlepaw was determined to take the fall for the thorns, and she decided to let him. He was so adamant about it that she didn't know how to respond, really.

She was probably dying today anyways, so may as well make it count. She looked at Gravelpaw.

"Aren't you Periwinklepaws friend? Do you normally call your friends pathetic, or are you just incapable of spitting anything other than venom, like Firefang?" She hissed at him. "You guys are a match made in Starclan, huh?"

Her fur was bristling as much as it could by now. She couldn't stop. It seemed everything she had held in since the day she was brought here was coming out.

Tigerfrost came over to intervene, and she met his own burning gaze with her own. She listened as he opened his mouth. Oh, please. How narrow-minded. Though, if they didn't want to be disrespected, they should show some respect themselves.

She listens to his punishment and scoffs.

"She'd rather let us starve and die, but fine. I'll fix her nest. Make it nice and cozy so she doesn't cry." She spat.

She did notice the way Gravelpaw looked at Periwinklepaw and Dazzlepaw, though. Oh ho. Ammunition for a later time perhaps. She turned and prepared to leave.

"I'm going to go get fresh moss." She said to Dazzlepaw and Periwinklepaw.

And with that, she started striding off for the camp entrance.

//Out if no one stops her!
