.°☀ I'll believe it all

The sun hung in the sky as the day ticked onwards as if nothing was happening. As if the world was at peace and there was a hope there would be peace at some point. A young warrior trotted into camp with a bird hanging from their pale jowels. Green hues looked around for a moment before trotted towards the nursery. Her sister would be due for her kits any day now and she wanted to make sure that her and Bobbie were fed as well. That and she was looking for some advice. Something to soothe was raging guilt that swirled in her stomach.

Bananasplash peaked her head into the nursery for a moment before backing up slightly, "Bobbie? Ora? You guys in there?," she called with a twitch of her tail. The nursery had a warm smell, milky and soft, and she wondered if she would ever end up here too. Quillstrike was now her mate of course and thus it was expected to be a mother soon right? Thats how it worked right? She didn't know really, but maybe they could offer some sort of solice.

SUNFLOWER, CAN'T LET YOU GO ✿°.✦ ————————————
There is a sound; Bobbie lifts her head, wide doe eyes blinking sleepily. She lifts a paw to rub at her sleep-damp green eyes, the pins on her collar clattering quietly. The sound is continuing. It's a voice, Bobbie realizes, struggling a moment to place a name. Bananasplash, that was it; she chatted with Orangeblossom often enough, and her denmate had mentioned the warrior. A pale face peers in and then recedes, as if afraid of the nursery—Bobbie chuckles softly to herself, wondering how anyone could avoid the den. Whoever had built the camp had paid careful attention to the den she currently spent much of her time in or around, and Bobbie appreciated it; moons of use left it with a soft, comforting smell, and the overall aura often soothed Bobbie's fluttery, off-track mind.

Speaking of. The lilac tabby pulled herself from the nest, half-limping to the nursery's entrance; it was Bananasplash indeed, and the satisfaction of getting it right momentarily warmed Bobbie's fur; then again, it wasn't exactly impressive to do. Actually it was the bare minimum—she cut her thought off as the sharp holly scent refocused her thoughts, mewing softly, "Oh, Bananasplash. Sorry, I was asleep," Bobbie couldn't tell if she'd been sleeping more lately because of the unborn kits or because the environment of SkyClan felt so safe ... she made an effort to refocus again; enough about her, Bobbie's well-trained ability to read faces kicked in, and poor Bananasplash's was all kinds of confusing; she looked guilty, worried, in need of advice or comfort. If there was a single skill Bobbie knew she had, it was that, so she sat down, nodding to the bird, "Aw, thanks, you didn't have to," she purred, attempting to nudge out whatever was clearly bothering Bananasplash, "So, what's been going on with you lately? I hear a bit from Orangeblossom, but not much."

Part of them had hoped Orangeblossom would be the one to answer, but Bobbie was better cause maybe she could give an unbiased opinion. Starclan knew her older sister was probably sick of hearing about her issues with boys and all that. Setting down the bird, there was a nudge to her shoulder by the lilac pelted queen and Bananasplash felt her ears burn with her own shame. How could she explain this? It would make her sound so selfish- but how could she help what her heart wanted most of all? There was a glanced downward before there was a sigh from the young warrior, suppose it was best to just be honest.

"Quillstrike asked me to be his mate," She started with softly and a smile tugged at her lips as she thought about that night, but then guilt stabbed at her gut, "Pigeonsong called me the light of his life, he confessed to me and I just- ran away?" Bananasplash flinched at the memory and the lack of sleep she had gotten that night. The nightmare had been one thing but hurting Pigeonsong was another. A few tears prickled at the corner of her gaze and she cursed silently to herself, stop getting over emotional.

The pale tabby cat looked to the queen with a desperate expression, as if she had an answer to all her problems, "But I love them both. I love them so much my heart aches for them," Bananasplash put a paw to her chest and she casted her gaze downward, "But it is selfish to like more than one cat...but how can I choose?"

SUNFLOWER, CAN'T LET YOU GO ✿°.✦ ————————————
Tall lilac ears perk, round green eyes glitter attentively; Bobbie's focus is entirely on whatever it is that has Bananasplash glancing down, sighing, with a sad expression. The tabby queen waits patiently for whatever it is that's bothering the small cream-and-white warrior to spill out, and it does. A sigh and Bananasplash has begun to speak, and Bobbie can see a mixture of guilt and happiness on her face. What she says justifies it; Bobbie makes an effort to keep her eyebrows low; after all, she can hardly judge about relationships—what a nice problem for Bananasplash to have. Instantly the queen chides herself; it's a serious issue and one that's clearly pulling at the poor cat's heart. She listens as Bananasplash tells of her new relationship with Quillstrike, Pigeonsong's confession, her love for them both.

Bobbie meets the desperate, tear-edged green gaze with her own level one until Bananasplash's lowers sadly; providing comfort is one of her greater strengths, eclipsing her usually meeker demeanour. She considers it a moment and then opens her jaws slightly, careful of her teeth, and mews, "That's quite the dilemma, Bananasplash," she spoke softly, tone overcast with empathy, "Love is hard; someone almost always gets hurt, unfortunately." Her heart twists wryly at the thought, but she sets the thought deliberately aside: this moment is for Bananasplash, not her own issues, and continues, "But I would say, if you genuinely love them both, it's far from selfish. The heart wants what it wants, and you can't help it; in my opinion, you have a lot of love to give. That's not a bad thing."

She considered a moment; platitudes were helpful, reassurance good, but it was useless if Bobbie couldn't offer a real solution. She settles on, "I know this sounds kind of awkward," the queen mews with a tinge of amusement, "But have you thought about talking to them both, maybe together, and telling them about this? Otherwise it's just going to eat away at you, I'd think ...?" Bobbie cringes internally; her advice feels useless now that it's left her mouth, and she wishes she could usher it back in. Too late now, but she was trying her best. As little good as it'd probably do.

Green hues watch as the lilac queen offered some kind of comfort that she could feel the tension leave her shoulders slightly. Bananasplash gave a flushed look at being told she had a lot of love to give- was this true? She felt like it would be because she did love a lot of cats in her life. Always one to believe that if one didn't tell someone they loved them they'd surely regret it and a big person on platonic love as well- she gave a smile at the thought and nodded in understanding to her words.

Bobbie then went on to offer a solution, and she felt herself almost instantly delicing the idea. No, she had to give it a fair chance that was all. Though she would be a liar if she didn't feel like Bobbies' solution made sense. Open communication is important for any sort of relationship even if it wasn't a romantic one right? Bananasplash gave a soft sigh and looked down at her paws, "You're not wrong, I should talk to them both," She agreed softly.

How would it go though?

Quillstrike wasn't the type of cat share anything that he declaired at his, and Pigeonsong was so kind and doscile- they where two opposites of the same coin. "Do you think I should jump right into talking to them both? Or should I talk to them seperately and then together?" Bananasplash sounded a little desperate for something akin to a plan. She didn't think she'd be able to make that choice on her own, but she was thankful to Bobbie for what she offered. It helped- more than she knew.

"Do you think I should jump right into talking to them both? Or should I talk to them seperately and then together?"

Bobbie's doelike green gaze squints, her wide muzzle bridge crinkling with concentration. It was a tough dilemma, she thought; her face relaxed but her ears flickered in thought—from what the lilac queen could recall, Quillstrike was one of her new(ish) Clanmates that erred on the more intimidating side, in her opinion. Though she supposed he had to have some kind of a soft side if he was partners with sweet, energetic Bananasplash—the cream shecat was certainly good company, regardless of the thorny problem she was asking for advice on. Pigeonsong, on the other paw, if she was remembering correctly, was a rather boisterously kind warrior who she'd often seen searching persistently around camp for a sour-looking apprentice. Two very different cats; Bobbie was honestly impressed with Bananasplash's ability to love them both so equally, enough that the shecat was clearly this broken up over it.

Her proposed discussion could go very well or very poorly depending, and Bobbie knew she'd be shadowed by guilt for moons if it went the latter way. Choosing her words carefully, the queen hesitantly offered, "I would say ... talk to them separately first. They seem so different, and you can't predict how they'll react around each other without having some idea first, y'know? But ... if they both really love you, I'd think they'd be willing to do anything to find some kind of a solution," Bobbie hastily finished with a soft laugh and self-conscious mew, "But, I mean, I don't know them nearly as well as you do. So, uh, take my advice with a grain of salt."

Bananasplash had her doubts of course, but talking to them couldn't hurt right? She'd have to talk to Pigeonsong at some point as she had been avoiding him since he confessed to her. Quillstrike was more than apt to showing her off to everyone in camp, and she rather not hurt anyone in the process. That was the last thing she wanted. The young warrior looked down at her white paws for a moment before back to Bobbie as the queen gave a self-concious laugh and offered her advice for a grain of salt, "No you're really helpful, Bobbie, thank you, really," She insisted upon the queens dimissal. Talking about it surely helped a lot and she was more determined to make things work with everyone even if it meant hurting someone in the process.

"Just talking about it has helped so much," She mentioend softly and flicked her tabby tail behind her for a moment before looking back to the lilac queen, "How're you though? How're your kits?" Bananasplash wanted to continue to talk but about herself seemed drole and boring now that everything had been laid out on the table. Part of her did wonder though- would she have Quillstrikes kits? He would make an excellent father one day, but part of her wondered if they where too young now at this point to think about having children. It was the time to have them as it was warm out with plenty of prey as well.

The young warrior smiled sweetly, "You think I'd get to mentor one when the time comes?" She asked excitedly with a little butt wiggle in her excitement. Bananasplash dreamed of being made a mentor! She wanted nothing more than an apprentice of her own to talk to, to train, to watch grow into a strong and formible warrior! She grinned at the thought and looked to the lilac queen with a head tilt, "Are you fairing well though? Do you need prey or anything?"

SUNFLOWER, CAN'T LET YOU GO ✿°.✦ ————————————
Bobbie glances down, lilac ears flattening a touch as heat bristles her pelt lightly—helpful! The word was like a balm to her worried soul; she supposed if she had absolutely no other skills, the least she could do was provide their warriors like Bananasplash support. Sympathy followed in a wave; poor Bananasplash must be pretty torn up about this, Bobbie had enough trouble with one tom, much less two. That takes her thoughts down a road of memories her paws would rather not follow, and Bobbie forced her thoughts back to what the cream shecat was saying. Before the lilac cat could protest, her maw open to release the words—that right now was about Bananasplash, not her, she felt something that knocked the wind solidly out of her.

A kick! Bobbie's felt the kits moving before, but this is the first solid indication that her smoky, memory-veiled relationship had truly made something, that the days of a swollen belly and leisurely camp-lounging are finally approaching their end, far as it might feel to her. The lilac cat smiles at Bananasplash's inquiry, "If that kick was anything to go by, they're very well," she purrs amusedly once she has the breath, muttering in mild wonder, "First time I've felt it properly."

Now that her breath's coming back to her properly, Bobbie yawns slightly, conscious of her jagged teeth, and glanced cheerily at Bananasplash, "I'm not a hundred percent clear on Clan rules about that, but I don't see why not," she purrs cheerily; it's true. The lilac queen can't imagine one of her kits being safer and more cared for anywhere else than under that sweet green gaze, and she says so, "I'll certainly recommend it to Blazestar, if I can work up the nerve. I'd feel good about my kit's safety, and their future, with you for a mentor."

She flaps a paw at this last inquiry, mewing with a soft giggle, "I'm fine, though! Unless you have anything for making kits less exhausting to carry, and I don't think even StarClan could do that."
