A small, albino she-cat with pink eyes and long white fur. True to her name, Softkit is a very soft to the touch kitten, with long white fur that manages to appear pristine no matter what terrain she goes through. Being albino, she has pink and pink-rimmed eyes, always holding a gaze that looks as if it can see more than what's there - some might see this as odd, others may see it as simple curiosity.

Softkit was born to Spiderlily and Whitelion during the whitecough outbreak, and subsequently lived through the rogue invasion of the Clans as a child. During this time, she and her family were moved from their home ThunderClan to ShadowClan when the rogues took control, and it was there that Softkit was able to interact with kits from nearly all the Clans. Following the taking back of the Clans' territory by its rightful owners, Softkit and her family returned to ThunderClan.
