He had to be guarded if he wanted to leave camp, his far-thinner frame then the last time he had seen him nearly a year ago stark against those who had been well-fed by Skyclan's bountiful prey. Even now did Falcongaze clasp in his jaws that of a songbird who was plump on newleaf seeds as he approached the fern-den, his nose pushing in. Met with the scent of fresh moss and mouse bile, he knew that those who relaxed here were well cared for.

Head dipped to the other elders as he found his father. They had spoken briefly from time to time, but this was different, of course. Falcongaze intended to sit and stay and explain everything that had happened- from childhood bully to even just a pawful of days ago when Drowsynose... confessed. His heart thumped at the thought as he settled down, songbird prey passed to his father. "I brought something to eat, if you'd like to share tongues over a meal." He offered kindly. This was a new territory to explore- he wasn't sure how the cat he knew over ten moons ago compared to that of the cat now.
