SHALE SHALESTRIPE: he / him — a nasty son of a gun who's crooked enough to swallow nails and spit out corkscrews. fortune favors the bold, but she favors the strong as well, and shalestripe is plenty of both. he's always ready to fire off at the mouth against any cat he feels deserves it. he keeps enough in line to respect the hierarchy of strength in windclan, but is generally a nuisance and a bully to cats that he feels are below him.

✦ black smoke tabby with high white and amber eyes. toyhou.se. among the largest cats in windclan, shalestripe boasts a well-muscled frame draped in ash-white fur streaked by charcoal. his time in the rogue group has earned him some tears over the years, including the notch in his left ear and raking scars over his right eye, though he was fortuitous enough to keep his vision. shalestripe is a wily brute whose feathered fur often deposits itself in unkempt spires. he sports a spiky ruff off the base of his neck, and his tail is equally so. shalestripe's pelt is also frequently littered with wheat, grasses, and other treats from the moors he often ambles over.

✦ impulsive, opportunistic, opinionated, brash, bully, machinean, hardy, diligent. his physical skills sort of help make up for his lacking diplomacy, but his sharp tongue (and sharper claws) often lead him to trouble. leaps before he looks. generally misses the rogue group's ways of doing things, but definitely respects sootstar's authority & the hierarchy of strength / power within the clan. tries his best to gain the favor of those up top. as a tw, he generally also holds ableist views and is a very nasty cat overall!

─ a part of gin's rogues, shale was taken in towards the end of the group's lifespan after growing up in alleys in the concrete jungle. he's always been a scrappy cat, able to hold his own just fine, but tended towards safety in numbers. when sootstar killed gin, shale became shalestripe, and he's been in windclan ever since. he'd likely have a decent rapport with most warriors, especially those from the rogue group & fellow loyalists. however, he is as outspoken as he is disagreeable, so it would not be unlikely that other cats would dislike him to some degree.
