At this point it's harder to have not heard about Sunpaw's argument with Foxtail as opposed to hearing about it. Anyone with ears in this camp would have heard about the actual argument itself or whispers in the aftermath. Twinklepaw doesn't get it, does Owlpaw and her really not care about their self image that much to make fools out of themselves like that? They're not sure if it's because they're the daughter of the leader and the deputy but she would rather die right now than talk back to her mentor like that. Much speak to a a lead warrior like that- two in fact when she eventually heard that Beefang was also involved. The disrespect is baffling, she'd think them to be really brave if not idiots for that. It's a harsh thought, maybe a little unfair in judgement. It looks bad for her too, to be friends with such cats- or with one cat? Her conversation with Sunpaw didn't really go well if one could even call it that.

Her tail flicks in frustration at the memory of it, they had reached a reluctant acceptance that maybe she was right in being upset with them over that. No matter what- it must suck to not see her friend right now (Twinklepaw still firmly believes there's something else going on there but she's learning to keep that to herself). If Lichenstar's word upholds then they can't see each other at all! There's a quiet hope that will change, while she gets that the pair was being really annoying and disrespectful she couldn't imagine not being able to spend any time with her friends. "Hey, Sunpaw" there's an uncanny lack of high pitch cheer to her tone as she calls out to the apprentice.

Honestly they're half expecting to be snapped at, told to leave, anything along those lines. They're stubborn though, waiting long enough for the lingering cats to disperse so she can actually talk to her denmate without prying eyes or ears. "You... Are you doing alright?" She thinks to apologise but decides against it, what would she even be apologising for? There was an assumption that no one had asked how she's doing since that very public fiasco. Twinklepaw still cringes at the thought of it... Yikes, how is the apprentice going to live that one down?
