  Burnstorm is a large tom, at his full height he stands above most of his clanmates and comes nose to nose with his father, who he has inherited most of his traits from. These traits include his long legs that are filled with muscles, making him a superb climber if he ever chose to use such a skill, and his oval shaped eyes, though instead of a bright sky blue like his fathers, his are golden in color, bearing a striking resemblance to the sun. His pelt, dark like his mothers, can also be attributed to his father. It is long and plush and though it is easy for it to quickly become knotted, it is usually silky and soft. His tail is very much the same, long and covered in the same fur that makes up the rest of his body. Underneath his thick pelt is mostly muscle, developed from moons of rigorous training and hard forest life. Also hidden are a couple of scars, testaments to the battles he has fought.
