Out with their mentors, or at the least supervising warriors, Ragwortpaw and Mousepaw had managed to have a successful hunt. Ragwortpaw was finally nailing down how to crouch and not look… completely lopsided, and Mousepaw had caught a critter. Leaning past the she-cats shoulder she identifies that it is, ironically, a mouse!
”Nice.” Simply the large apprentice compliments as her mouth begins to water. She’d do anything to tear right into the food before her, but to the elders it would go upon their return home. In an unneeded act of displaying niceties she offers, ”I can carry it?” Perhaps one would think this was Ragwortpaw’s sneaky way of getting a bite, but truth be told it wasn’t a thought in her mind. Very one direction minded she was, when warriors said “this is how we do things” there was no other direction she thought of!
Still one thing stood, offering to carry ones mouse was a bit overkill… even when meant in good nature. Ragwortpaw was big and burly, but her fellow apprentice was still capable of carrying her own kill!
