WE WERE PLAYING IN THE SAND
in a world where he finds himself constantly searching for his mother, he latches. he watched his mother leave him, and she's yet to come back. so he latches on to other cats. cats that are nice. cats that are mean. any cat that talks to him. he doesn't wanna be left anymore. he doesn't realize that it hurts when cats leave him behind and that's why he so believes everyone is his friend. fallowpaw isn't the nicest cat he's ever met but he thinks they're friends all the same. seeing fallowpaw sitting within the camp's clearing is perfect opportunity. he skipped ahead and grinned wide as he greets it.
"hi! hi! fallowpaw, hi! hello! what are you doin'? can I join you? please please, I promise to be quiet if you want!"
they had to be friends, right? totally. nothing could convince him otherwise.
