Maybe that bad day was caused by the boredom of staying in camp…

Agatekit has no idea what was beyond ShadowClan's camp, but she wants to see it. She has to wait a few moons, until she's an apprentice, and the anticipation is killing her. She has no plans to sneak out, to delay what she wants so much, but she has to know what awaits her. What sort of treasures could she and Stonekit find out there, once they were old enough?

Well, one of the apprentices or warriors has to know. Mismatched eyes glanced around, and she picked her unsuspecting victim.

With a flurry of giggles, she bounded over to the apprentice. “Snowpaw! Hey, hey Snowpaw! What's it like outside of camp? Is there anything cool? Anything sparkly?”​

[ ༻❄༺ ] There was that odd thought in the back of Snowpaw mind, that at one time or another he too had been trapped within the sanctuary of Shadowclan's camp, forbidden to leave due to his rank as a kit... yet that felt like ages ago, especially when he and his group of apprentices had been the second to last group to become apprentices at the age of 4 moons, and last to be able to leave the safety of the camp at such a young age. He himself had only been eager to leave as his own sense of freedom from the others who pestered him during their times of entrapment but now... seeing what was beyond the camp walls had lost its color.

Of course needless to say, it still spark that curiousity in the younger generation, the ones still left to stay inside the camp walls until they were old enough, which in many times cause the kits to ask warriors and apprentices a like how the outside world was. He had been relaxing when Agatekit had approached, her curiousity making the tom blink before shifting his paws a bit. "Its big, and... I'm sure there are still areas in which I haven't laid my paws on yet... and, there's the carrion place, I believe I've seen a few shiny things here and there" he explained to the kit simply, not sure what else there was to answer the kit's own curiousity, yet he was sure the other will come up with more questions, or another one of their youth would come scrambling along to ask him another question.

[STONEPAW]

"Have you seen anything sharp?" The question was odd, for sure. Stonekit bounded up beside his sister, eyes gleaming. Outside... what a wonderful thing to imagine. He'd see so many new things, but while Agatekit was interested in shiny things, Stonekit was interested in others. "What about deadly?"

He didn't have the awareness to know they were weird, unsettling questions. He was curious, and determined to know. So he asked. Simple as that really, no need to dig any deeper on that front. Yet. He's normal.

[Gigglepaw]

Gigglekit hops over to where Stonekit and Agatekit are interrogating Snowpaw, and she listens carefully to each of the questions posed by the siblings. Shiny, sharp, deadly... the final question reminds her of the owl attack, and she suppresses a shiver.

"There's owls," Gigglekit interjects, looking to Snowpaw for confirmation. If there had been an owl in camp, then there were likely owls outside of camp, too - living in trees, hunting at night, as Gigglekit had learned. "Hey, what's the carrionplace all 'bout? I heard that there's all kinda things to be found there."

[HARRIERTEETH]

જ➶ So many questions are being flung Snowpaw's way that it makes a small measure of amusement flash across her scarred features. Ears perk up slightly and pull forward as the queen listens from where she lounges. Her tail is curled neatly around herself and she is close enough to hear the apprentice's answer. Gently she nods along before more kits surround the other with more and more questions and she allows a soft purr to leave her throat. They must all be excited for when they get to leave the nursery and become apprentices. To experience the territory for the first time and she finds herself reminiscing back when she first became an apprentice. It had been a magical thing really, seeing everything and wanting to explore more. When Gigglekit arrives and asks her question the woman decides to help a little.

"Hmmm, well the Carrionplace is intriguing and dangerous. It's home to many rats and they don't mind fighting a cat. But there are unique items and trinkets you can find there. Sometimes shiny twoleg objects." She thinks for a little bit before she nods to herself at her answer.​
