*✿❀○❀✿* For some reason, her twolegs disagreed with the dazzling green plants among her flowers and shrubs. Pulling them all out of the ground and most likely allowing them to start decomposing off to the side. Bella shook her head at how wasteful the kit was, and carefully bit out the fern roots. She had a wonderful idea for them, but it would have to wait until tomorrow!

When the sun came out again, she carried a bundle to camp and hid it until she had some free time after finishing her chores. It felt like time was dragging on, but as soon as she got the go-ahead, Bella skipped back to her hiding location to get the gorgeous follage out.

The mismatched apprentice hummed as she worked to tangle the stems together and roll the leaves of the ferns into each other so they overlocked. She inwardly scolded herself for not grabbing some flowers to tangle in. That would have made these into lovely flower crowns, not just leaf crowns. She put it on her head, not realizing she had made it far larger than she had meant to; it fell down her head and covered her collar entirely. "Oh my," Bella giggled, "Perhaps they would make good bedding instead." She highly doubted anyone would want a leaf collar.

𓆝 . ° ✦Cloudypaw raised his head at the sound of Bella's lighthearted mew. The new girl was intriguing to him. He pulled himself from his lounging sun-spot and creeped over. Doeblaze had given him the evening off to rest after training battle moves that morning. He watched quietly as she carefully formed a ring with the leaves. The apprentice let out a small giggle as it fell around her neck. Cool, smooth, definitely what he meant to do. A moment passed, (more like 5 moons), before he stuttered, "I, uh, like it. Um I like that," He burned with the embarrassment of stumbling through his sentence. But just wait! There's more. "You're- I mean, it's pretty," Even better, Cloudypaw! Keep that up.

Reactions: Bella

Chickbloom had dabbled in making flower crowns before. He was quite adept (surprising for one so shaky), but all the recent events had kept the coward away from the hobby for some time. Maybe that was why a wobbling smile crossed buttery features at Bella’s creation, a reminder that life had its moments of calm among all the chaos.

The warrior shuffled forwards as the fronds fell about her neck, feeling both nostalgia and inspiration at the sight. Though Chickbloom was glad to be rid of his collar (even if he still slept with it), the former kittypet sometimes found himself missing that dull warmth around his neck. It was like going to bed with a different blanket or wearing pants that were one size too big: uncomfortable.

Age and experience made the milksop more well-spoken than Cloudypaw, but not by much. “I - uh - I like the look of that -“ he mumbled in agreement, flicking a buttery tail towards the tangle of weeds around the apprentice’s neck. “It’s almost like - a u-uniform or s-something. It fits Skyclan really well, I - I think…” Between himself and Cloudypaw, Bella might have to head back home before this conversation was through. “Um…could I have one? If it’s - if it’s not too much t-trouble, of course.” It was a bit strange for a warrior to bow their head to an apprentice, especially for such a request, but Chickbloom wasn’t the type to pay attention to rank.

crochet’s former owner did a lot of things. she shuffled around like an older cat, hunched over working on making blankets, or digging up the garden. she would hum as she worked on either task, and the lilac molly would watch from the screen door. sometimes tapping on the glass with impatient paws, or urging to be let out (i won’t leave! i promise! she’d squeal from the other side). it looked like fun, whatever she was doing.

the plants that bella walked into camp with were familiar. little green things that her owner would also pull up and place into a pile. oh, how she longed to jump into it. crochet watched the apprentice work, finally bounding over when she finished. she blinks between the two, stuttery clanmates, then at the bi-colored girl. "wow! that’s so cute. how’d you make it?" she asks, wiggling next to chickbloom. "maybe you can weave flowers into your collar, too!"
