[Marquette]

THEIR STORY.

Blazestar was born Blaise, a pampered kittypet living in the Twolegplace until approximately his 39th moon. On a whim, he leaves his housefolk's nest and journeys into the forest, where he meets an intriguing she-cat named Little Wolf. Little Wolf hails from the marshland and lives with a colony of wild cats. Intrigued, Blaise continues to meet with her and decides to leave his comfortable life with his housefolk to become a wild cat. Blaise becomes lost and is rescued by the colony who opposes the one in the marshes. Led by former kittypet Rain, the pine colony welcomes Blaise with open paws.

Little Wolf spent her entire young life in the wild, migrating with her family to the marshland colony when Hare Whiskers led. She did not share their anti-kittypet rhetoric, and found Blaise to be different from her peers - kind-hearted and without prejudices. Little Wolf opposed the war Briar and her soldiers were brewing against Rain.

After the Great Battle, after Rain lost his life and StarClan was formed by the dead on both sides, Blaise staked his claim over Rain's former colony and territory. Renaming it SkyClan, he was granted nine lives and the seal of approval from Rain's spirit. As Blazestar, he vowed to never let war tear his Clan apart and to allow them time to heal in peace. Little Wolf followed her mother and siblings to ThunderClan to live under Emberstar; Little Wolf's mother, Howling Wind, even became the deputy. Because ThunderClan and SkyClan share a border, Blazestar and Little Wolf continued to see one another and eventually declared their love for one another.

RULES.

1. This litter is not first come, first serve. Applications will close on October 10th, where those picked will be announced and the family group chat will be created. This litter will be born before the Gathering on October 15th. There will be five kits in this litter. There is a slot reserved for Jay, the dam's roleplayer, a slot reserved for Marquette, the sire's roleplayer, and a special plot spot.
2. As mentioned above, there is the potential for someone to play a plot-specific kit in this litter. Details will be given later. Note in your application if you are interested in this and you maybe contacted later.
3. These kits will follow realistic genetics, outlined below. Birth defects are permitted, but please ensure they are thoroughly researched and played accurately and sensitively.
4. These kits will be born in ThunderClan. However, they will know their father lives in SkyClan and will visit him often. They are expected to have loyalties to both Clans. Whether you choose to have them remain in ThunderClan their entire lives is at your discretion; however, until at least the beginning of their apprenticeships, they will be required to stay with their mother.
5. No cruel names permitted! Blazestar and Little Wolf are very much in love with one another and are both kind-hearted. They wouldn't name their kits anything cruel or pointed.
6. Birth date, aging rules, and starting age have not yet been decided. A family groupchat will be started by Jay and myself and we as a family can determine these things once slots are chosen.
8. Activity is a must with these kits. If you cannot post with them at least at a semi-active level, please do consider not applying. We reserve the right to re-home your slot.
9. Have fun! Despite all of this, there will be plenty of chances for your characters to blossom into their own cats, and both Jay and I encourage this!

a long-haired tortoiseshell lynx point with stunning blue eyes. crescentkit is quite the sight to behold, she has a gorgeous creamy base coat that has brush strokes of a darker caramel colorings along her torso and head giving her an almost toasted appearance paired with stunning blue hues. her point markings that cover her face, legs and tail are but a spattering of mottled tortoiseshell colors, shades of black and oranges that could mimic the finest of artworks. like her mother, crescentkit adopts her physique of being small and slender with a more of a lean muscle that keeps her looking graceful. from her father's side she had taken his silky long fur which she keeps well-groomed at all times alongside the ruff that blooms around her neck giving her an even fluffier appearance.

➸ This absolutely giant cat is decorated with a thick golden brown mane with unusually large fangs. His pelt is made up of browns and tans which helps him blend in with the surrounding oak forest. Gleaming amber eyes sit upon a wolf-like face, always squinted with a grin. He certainly inherited his father's size, bulkiness, and thick pelt - it's easy to see where he gets almost everything about him from. Everything except for his dark pelt, which fades into a pale off-white underside. As he ages, he will become littered in ugly, zigzagging scars.

MENTALITY.​

➸ The first thing any cat will notice about Lionkit is that he's loud. Boisterous, jolly, and charismatic, the tom oozes confidence. He is bold, yet greedy and cunning. Despite this, he of course has a caring side, often shown towards family and close friends. From a young age, he is incredibly ambitious and dreams of becoming leader one day. However, even he must learn that friendship and loyalty must come before power. He dislikes unnecessary acts of violence and cruelty, wanting to avoid bloodshed as much as possible, and is generally honest and honorable in his dealings. Nonetheless, he learns in the future to maintain a constant air of harsh brutality around clanmates to keep up a reputation of being a strong candidate for lead warrior, if not deputy.

graced with dainty paws and long, whispy fur, there is a serenity to her appearance in a way. with her eyes half-closed or fully closed most of the time, it is a miracle one would be able to fully capture the beauty of her dark blue eyes that shine like lapis lazuli. sensitive to bright lights, this is the reason why she keeps her eyes hidden behind tanned eyelids. while not blind, it does cause her some issues when she's out in the open- sunshine is her worst enemy. her body, basked with beautiful tans and browns, is only barely dipped with midnight black from the tips of her paws to just above her elbows. her tail, fully coated in black- matches with her acorn-shaped marking of black on her face and dark ears. her face is round, and her stomach seems to hang down just a bit naturally. when she's older, the fur around her ankles and paw will grow out beautifully, well-taken care of by firefly. tucked into the tufts of her neck fur will usually be mint leaves, decorative yet giving her the signifying scent of mint. her fur is well-groomed, though she doesn't mind getting it dirty here and there.

fluffy tortoiseshell lynx point kitten with sapphire blue eyes A walking cotton ball, if you will, Drizzlekit is more fur than kit. Blessed (or cursed, if you asked her) with immensely thick and unruly fur, you won’t catch her spending any time on it, Despite this, it is hard to deny that it is not a unique pelt- primarily cream spare for the splashes of black and ginger that center around her face, ears, tail, and paws. If one looked hard enough, they may be able to spot the soft striped markings that hide within these bursts of color, and if one is lucky enough, they may also spot two deep blue hues and a broad muzzle staring back at them.

While she will never express her true opinions on another, her opinion on one is as delicate as an eggshell, annoy her, and that’s the last time she will think a positive thought about them, even if she is still perfectly polite to their face.
