private bound to fall // fallowpaw

Skyclaw sits pitifully in the nest he's trapped within. A few days, he thinks, and then he'll test his limits with leaving this StarClan-forsaken den. Warriors like him are not meant to be crippled by mere... scrapes. It is not like Crowsight gouged every organ from his body and strung them in the trees. The tom would do better to put weight into his strikes - not that Skyclaw would tell him such. Nevertheless the warrior stares at the trickle of water in the nearby wall, complete silence consuming him before he turns his gaze slightly and spots Fallowpaw. It had been the whole reason why he came to the medicine den in the end, after all.

"I heard two of them attacked you," he says, aimlessly, and though his gaze had fallen to her, it picks up again and fixes on the leak in the wall. He shifts his weight, laying down in his nest instead of stubbornly sitting in it. "It's sorry, isn't it? One SkyClanner can't hold their own, so they have to fight in pairs..." is it true? Likely not, but any noise to fill the air.

ˏˋ*⁀➷ Peace and quiet is a hard thing to come by in ThunderClan's camp, but the medicine den does make for one of the better places for it. Fallowpaw has few companions in the shady hollow save for visitors - though blessedly, those unfortunate enough to share the den with her are largely quiet.

It is not unsurprising when Skyclaw speaks to her; this sort of unmoving silence is not for everyone. His eyes drift, his voice purposeless. Empty words about the excusion thay had left them both confined here. She waits for him to finish before offering her own half-hearted reply. "Sorry's right. Warriors too, the cowards." It keeps its own head down, only looking to Skyclaw in quick side-eyed glances. There's a low growl thrumming through it's voice. "Guess SkyClan fights dirty." The fight clearlt wasn't fair, but she resents the fact that she didn't get a proper chance to finish it even still. If she'd taken down two full grown cats, no one would even think about messing with her ever again.

She could leave it there, but... Something about Skyclaw being the only other cat injured in their codebreaking nags at it. Only their claws sought violence, and isn't there something almost like kinship in that? Her narrowed eyes dart over once more - and linger. "Still got out better'n you. Y'look like you got mauled by a fox or somethin'," it mumbles. He'd only been up against one cat. Brothers or something? It didn't really care enough to pay attention.
