There was a weight since waking up, something she wasn't used to. It had happened a couple of times before, but she didn't understand it. But this one was heavy, and it made it hard to wanna wake up and play this morning. But she did, and she hid the weird feeling behind a large grin.

She was surrounded by people she felt cared for her. She should be happy! She was always happy!

But, there was a longing feeling. Her momma wasn't there. She'd be coming, she assured everyone. Her momma was so strong!

but the day crawled by, and she kept looking to the camp entrance, hoping the chocolate tabby would come through and embrace tiger in a big hug. It had only been a few days, but she missed her badly.

the sun set, and the sky was cast with the darkness of the night, and twinkling with so many of those lights. It was always so pretty to look at. The brown and orange kitten would look to the familiar queen, giving her a look of curiousity. "What are those lights up there? Are they actually fireflies?" she asked the queen, casting her green gaze back up to the sky.

Tansy, ever-aware, isn't a stranger to those looks of longing towards the camp entrance. It breaks her heart, truly does, but until the time is right Tansy is sure she's not allowed to say anything. Especially with the situation now being wrapped in a lie. Her tail flicks as she lays, Crystalkit and Coalkit already put to bed giving her more time to focus on their newest addition: Tigerkit. Her eyes are closed, various thoughts flitting through her mind but none as dark as they usually are. She forces herself not to think about her other kittens.

"What was that, darling?" Tansy's eyes shoot open, head tilting as she processes little Tigers question. Oh! The fireflies that dance happily in summer, she remembers being so very fascinated by the very idea of flying little balls of fire as a kitten. The orange and brown tabby kitten is looking up at them and she smiles softly. "Yep! They're fireflies and they usually come out during green-leaf." her tail flicks idly, a sigh of content tumbling from her lips. "Did you also know they're called lightning bugs, too?" Tansy hums. "We can try to catch them, if you want. They're fun, cause they'll rest on your paws when tired."​

Tigerkit knew she should be asleep, knew that it would be beneficial to her. She was always always told the more sleep she got the bigger she would get. But she just, wasn't tired. Her toes felt riddled with energy, and her legs were restless.

"Lightning is scary, because it bring thunder," she said softly. "Fireflies sound nicer. What do you think fire is like?" She asked, standing up to move closer to tansy and looking up to the sky cast with thousands of fireflies.

"We can try! The seem slow, some don't move at all!" She exclaimed, her eyes drifting down to some that floated around camp with a small glow. "What's green leaf?"
