Drizzlepelt often finds himself stressed out, and it tends to show through his disposition. He wouldn’t necessarily say he’s on guard most of the time, but there’s always a tension in his stomach that’s been hard to remedy. Even so, he really does adore most of his clanmates. Knowing how some of the other clans can be, he likes to think he got lucky. There’s not many cats he outright dislikes, and the general feel of the clan is a homely one, shining through even the darkest clouds. Despite all the hardships, he truly does believe they’ll persevere through it all.
The apprentice in front of him wasn’t exactly someone he was used to being around, as @DOOMPAW can tend to be off-putting. But at least they both had being born female and then changing, he supposes. It makes him feel more at ease despite knowing how he can be. It’s definitely easier to speak to someone who just gets it, and it’s the quickest way for him to trust another. That doesn’t mean he’ll go any easier on the tortoiseshell, however. “Hey there, Doompaw. Find anyone to bring misfortune to today?” He teases, eyes narrowing as his grin widens. He tries to keep his tone upbeat to show that’s it’s a playful question, not him trying to bully the younger tom.
