Exhaustion had racked his body, sending him to the medicine den for some time for fatigue related illnesses. The chocolate tabby had learned his lesson, he had to. The felidae coughed as he emerged from the warriors den, his paws itching to get out of his nest after sleeping the whole night. With a small stretch, he looked around the clan's campground. The activity of the world around him was fantastic in his opinion. There were faces he had not seen before or rather he had not met their acquaintance. With a rather large sigh and a gulp, tension deep in his shoulders, the tom fought down his nerves. The worry furrowed his brows as he would begin to re-integrate into the clan.

The warrior maneuvered through the crowd towards the rather pathetical choices of prey on the pile. "Leafbare..." He sighed to himself, barely able to be heard. "StarClan help us." He grabbed a frog from the pile and padded towards another cat. He cleared his throat and then spoke with a harsh, gravely voice. "Sorry to disturb you, but I was wondering if you had eaten yet? If not, would you like to share this with me? It really is too much for me and I'd hate for any of it to go to waste, especially in leaf'bare."

Thornpaw had just returned from a border patrol with her mentor. Pelt a scruffy mess from the snow melting in her tufts. After the craziness of the last few days she had a hard time sleeping again. Eyes heavy with restlessness and shoulders slouched. The blonde feline certainly didn't appear up to the task of socializing but none the less a much taller cat approached. Awkwardly, she cast the other a confused look as they spouted on sincerely. Share a meal? Looking away Thornpaw contemplated it a moment just as her stomach growled in response. Embarrassed she grimaced at the sound before finally meeting Coyotetooth's expectant gaze. "Sure." To the point as always her voice responded flatly. Tail low and ears twitching shyly. She was hungry plus it never hurt to share so who was she to say no.
