જ➶ Thunder is a constant companion on their hunting trip. Causing them to look up at the angry dark grey clouds that cover the crisp blue sky. Perhaps this moment had not been the best to go out hunt but before they had left the clouds had been quite further back against the horizon. A rough sigh leaves their throat then as they hasten their pace to go and gather their kills, hoping that Starclan will hold back the deludge that threatens to drown them. Moving through the murky swamp is easy enough for them, paws shifting across the driest parts with a near Windclan swiftness as they head for the small mound where their prey has been stored. Quickly they begin to dig up what they have, tearing through the earth with vicious claws before they hit warm fur. Their teeth clamp down on it and with a gentle tug out comes the marsh hare. The large rodent like creature dangles from their jaws and right before turn around to begin the journey home a flash of lightning explodes in the sky. The thunder follows quickly, shaking the earth and causing their pelt to stand on end. Then before they know it the downpour begins. 'Mouse-dung! Gotta find somewhere to stay for a little.' Their thoughts ring out before they are quickly half jogging with their prey still clamped in their jaws.
By the time the moon kissed feline finds a hollowed out tree they are soaked to the bone. But relief is all they feel as they head in and almost immediately they have to sidestep to avoid another of the hollowed tree's occupants. It startles them and they drop the marsh hare upon the ground. "I didn't think anyone else would be out in this storm. Were you hunting too, Salamandersnap?" They shift back and edge further against the hollowed flesh of the tree before sitting down and looking at the pouring rain.
