"AND I'M NOT YOUR PROTAGONIST"

Stormgaze had been rather depressed since her mom left the clan. She wanted so badly to go back to normal but so much had changed. The she-cat was feeling bored and a little more energetic today. Spotting a familiar feline she grinned to herself. Getting to her paws as she entered a crouch. The warrior was sure her clan mates would spot what she was doing but it would be over before they could say anything.

Coming up behind Inky before gently pouncing on the other cat. Trying to scare them as she knew they hadn’t seen her coming. “Boo!” she teases, beginning to laugh a bit. It was harmless and very funny to her.

Everything Stays

The black cat had been sitting down off to the side of the prey pile, finally giving their fur a grooming, and had zero attention to the world around him. Inkylotus had just gotten back from his little training session with Duskfire and felt it was time to be less gross. Enough self pity and wallowing, there was so much he could do! Just wait and see world! The thought made a smile spread across his lips for a moment- then he felt paws on his back. Large ears perked up in surprise, fur bristling as they didn't notice anyone coming near them! He moved with a quickness to his feet and lashed out with a sheathed paw at their assailant, "Hey!" He sounded offended at first before snorting in amusement, "Stormgaze!"

How unimpressive... scaring a blind tom. Inkylotus hadn't even had much for wind to lead Stormgaze's scent to him. Then again, Inkylotus had ears... perhaps there was a signal he could've heard to predict this. Storm's actions were light-hearted and for fun, but it seems Sootstar doesn't find much amusement in it...

Unlike Soot, Inkylotus appears to find it funny. She snorts, if he didn't care, why should she? Though if anyone had done that to her she would've given them the chase of a lifetime. Casually she watches to see how the rest of their interaction would unfold.

//sorry this adds nothing rly but a bump? but she wont add any fun to this thread if I have her further engage LOL </3!

He kept forgetting Inkylotus was blind, perhaps it was because the other tom moved so well, perhaps it was because he took things in stride and adapted well. Dandelionpaw constantly had to catch himself from saying things like 'see that' or 'look over there' when in the dark warrior's presence but each time it had happened Inkylotus laughed it off. It was nice to see his sense of humor had not been dampened by his inability to see, but jokes were something that required neither eyes nor attention. A good joke, he reckoned, could be understood by anyone.
Stormgaze had the right idea...maybe the clan could use a few harmless pranks to lighten the mood.

Dandelionpaw had gotten very good at his hunter's crouch. Grackledive was a stern but kind mentor, he pushed as much as he could without being overbearing and the challenge of it all was both tiring and exciting. He was improving and he felt it. The ultimate test now was sneaking upon Sootstar undetected. The ashen queen was looking at the scene of Stormgaze and Inkylotus with what appeared to be the air of disinterest. Maybe she didn't think it was funny, maybe she was worried for the inkswill of a warrior's feelings in being so teased, maybe she just didn't get it.
Regardless, he was prepared for a cuff upside the head as he crept along slowly and evercloser. If she detected him even a little, she didn't seem to respond as much, so with a spring the sepia point launched forward to land behind her, mimicking Stormgaze's own cheer of "BOO!" In the process.

She made no attempt to move as the blind feline batted at her with a sheathed paw. Still giggling over her own silly actions. It was probably rude to scare a cat that was unable to see. But Inkylotus never seemed to mind. In fact, their reaction made her feel that they liked it. Maybe it was because she would do this no matter what. Whether they would see or were deaf. No one would escape her small jabs of trying to have fun.

“Hahaha got you good!” She praises herself before taking notice of Sootstar and Dandelionpaw. The warrior quickly turned her attention away from them. She didn’t want to give away what the young apprentice was trying to do. Stepping to the side so Inkylotus could watch the fall out. She began to laugh once more as Dandelionpaw let out their own ‘boo.’ “Nice one!” she says, even if they had failed to scare the leader. It was good to know Stormgaze was such a good influence.
