  MENTALITY​

  emotional / impulsive / remorseful / violent / earnest / disingenuous / conformist / sociable / self-serving. Nightfish is not a bad person, but he is prone to doing bad things. He feels so much, all the time: crushing sadness and intense joy, burning rage and heart-melting fondness, and tends to act unthinkingly on these emotions for better and for worse. Often for the worse, as every emotion seems to trigger his fight-or-flight response... and it only has one setting, which if fight. Gentleness and kindness do not come naturally to him — he has to make a deliberate effort every time. Which doesn't mean he doesn't give it a good try!
  Despite his violent impulses, Nightfish knows he should be less quick to act out of violence. Dissatisfied with himself, he often tries to act how he thinks is expected of him: swallowing thorny words and stilling slaps at the last moment, repressing his overwhelming emotions to try and fit another, 'better' identity.
