A field of snow stretched before the warrior with a lonely hue staring outward at the undergrowth, peeking out beneath the powdered white, ground long tarnished by cat paws in the wake of morning patrols, now basking in the mid-day sun. He rumbled, thoughtful, dark lips curled in something pleasant despite the blistering cold, well-adapted for leafbare, but sourly unprepared with the sun’s blistering heat, but far better with fur the color of milky white.

His paw steps remained unhurried, blending well with day-old fallen snow, ghostly looking with a singular hue floating, terribly terrifying if someone skimmed over his appearance with little thought. A wandering ghost with no purpose, nothing more than a lonely hue flickering across familiar undergrowth when he spotted Smudgepaw.

He gravitated toward the smaller feline, standing within the other’s peripherical, a poor choice if he hadn’t wanted to scare the other, but one must remain sharp, unwavering like an unmoveable stone while out from the safe confinements of their camp. “Smudepaw.” He greeted, turning a golden hue toward the apprentice, paw steps quiet, giving nothing away that he was there until his voice tumbled out. “Out on a hunt, I assume?” He commented breezily, unaware if he frightened the child or not.
