A bright and bold daylight warrior, Sangriaflight is fiercely loyal to her ideals and to her clan. She often comes across as a spiteful, rude young girl, blessed as she is with a stubbornness and wit that make handling her difficult for the unprepared. Currently, she is wading through the most miserable part of her life; her mentor stepping down has demolished the relationship between them, and she finds it hard to look at Johnnyflame without feeling as though he's betrayed her by choosing his mate over his duty. The deaths of her mother and brother have dimmed her attitude notably; she tends to walk around as though in a daze, seeing but not quite understanding.

Sangriaflight is a fierce, hardheaded daylight warrior who feels that she has something to prove to SkyClan. She is quick to leap to her own defense when others speak ill of kittypets, and does not hesitate to fling insults and lift her lips in a threat.

Sangriapaw is a perfectly average-sized cat, with short and unruly fur that rises into wild spikes along her neck and spine. She has grown into a solid figure, with broad shoulders and powerful hind legs that allow her to dash and leap between trees with ease. Her coat is mostly a warm cinnamon hue, splashed with sunbursts of bright orange that are reminiscent of Figfeather's pelt. Darker stripes cut through each color of her fur, and her underside, tail tip, and paws are cloaked in white. Her sharp, intelligent eyes are a gentle leafy green in color.

Although she was known as an optimistic kit, a ray of SkyClan sunshine, Sangriapaw has grown far more bitter over the course of her apprenticeship. She has grown to be spiteful and even rude, refusing to let go of past transgressions and holding others at an arm's length. Her persistence may be admirable when she is working stubbornly to finish a task, but it is less welcomed when she refuses to back down from arguments. She is an outspoken and passionate girl, unafraid to voice her feelings even if her opinions are unwanted or controversial. When locked in an argument, Sangriapaw proves to be immovable and unwilling to compromise—she is quick to anger, and difficult to calm once her emotions are running high. It seems, to an outsider's perspective, that Sangriapaw feels emotions more intensely than most other cats, although she never seems to appear sad.

When she feels she is being underestimated, she grows defiant, obstinate in her attempts to prove that she is more than what others expect from her. She does not tend to let go of grudges, a spiteful and bitter creature who reveals herself when she feels as though she has been scorned. She is a difficult cat to work alongside, but when her loyalty is earned, it is even more difficult to lose. She can be single-minded in her dedication to those she cares about, and would go to great lengths to defend her friends. She is well attuned to the emotions of others, and would make a good friend if only she would settle down for long enough to listen.

Bold and unafraid of danger, Sangriapaw often finds herself in over her head. She is a daring thrillseeker whose curiosity tends to lead her straight into danger, but she is always ready to explore the unknown. Her confidence and courage are driven by the need to prove herself more than just a weak kittypet, and from this blooms her desire for greatness. She is a ruthless competitor, and seeks to defeat others no matter what methods she has to employ to do so. Ambition has been passed down from Figfeather, though Sangriapaw is loath to admit that she has much in common with her sire.

In spite of her multitude of obvious flaws, Sangriapaw is an intelligent apprentice. With a quick wit and good instincts, she is confident in her ability to get herself out of any situation. She is intuitive and often listens to her heart over her head, although she understands the importance of logic in decision-making. She has a deep-seated respect for authority figures, though she feels she has been let down by all the most important figures in her life; this makes her wary when dealing with cats who have yet to let her down, and she tries not to let herself get too close to those who might still do so.

Born into a house in the twolegplace, Sangriakit remained there until she and her brother Coffeekit were weaned. For the first two months of her life, she was entertained by her mother and Figfeather's stories of their family and clanmates in SkyClan, and her excitement to meet them only grew. So when the day finally came that she and Coffeekit got to visit SkyClan for the first time, Sangriakit eagerly greeted everyone she met. She quickly decided that she liked the clan, and wanted to go back there all the time. But seeing as it was the middle of winter, and the clan was experiencing some struggles with rogues, she and her brother couldn't go to SkyClan every day.

When Bobbie told all the kits stories about rogues, Sangriakit was enamored. She did not understand the danger that rogues posed at the time, but she enjoyed hearing stories about brave warriors, and decided that she wanted to become one someday.

Figfeather was eager for her kits to pick up SkyClan's skill of climbing early, and Sangriakit was a bit apprehensive, but overall excited to try it out. However, things quickly went south, and both Sangriakit and Coffeekit nearly fell out of a tree. They both needed to be rescued, and though they escaped without any major injury, the event instilled a deep fear of heights in the girl. This fear was not eased when, not long after, the clan's leader Blazestar was killed in a random attack by a WindClanner.

Sangriakit withdrew, after Blazestar's death. She'd known of death before, but not as a tangible thing. She became even more faraway than she had before, lost in thought more often than not, and her moods turned stormier as she approached her third month of life. But life around SkyClan marched on, and she found new friends in Blazestar's youngest children. Finally, when she reached 5 months of age, Sangriakit took to climbing again. This time, though, she waited until no one was around to pressure her or make her mess up, and she made it up so high that she should have gotten a medal... or a crown. But nobody even saw it except Twitchbolt—but that's why he's her favorite deputy!

Or... that's why twitchbolt was her favorite deputy, at least. Because he got hurt, and then he quit being deputy! Can you believe that?
