YOU SHOULD KNOW I'M A HAZARD

"well well well. if it isn't the sweet little clan kitty who almost found himself splattered all over the path of thunder."

hickory isn't really known to hold back what she's thinking when she speaks. it's not her forte, not really. her style is more being suave, getting other cats to let their guard down around her. now that is what she does. her tail twitches as she slowly slinks closer, humming curiously before she pauses completely.

"glad to see my efforts weren't in vain and that you aren't dead, darling. but what are you doing out here, hm? still looking for that friend of yours? maybe i can help. i've been told i'm pretty good at finding things... if they want to be found, that is."

hickory takes but a moment to stretch out, a yawn breaking the honey from her voice, just for a moment. she stands up straight, head lulling off to the side as if trying to study the cat near her. she is studying, watching the way she steps, the way she stands, the way she breaths. how often. when she flicks her tail, or twitched her whiskers, even the cadence in her voice. her nose subtly twitches as she commits the scent to her memory, gently smacking her tongue against the roof of her mouth. hm. how interesting this one is.

"oh, unless you've just come here to sulk. 'fraid the twolegplace, as y'all call it, isn't the best place to be all down and somber, sweetie. either way, name's hickory. don't think you said yours last time. would love to know who i'm talkin' to."
