When Badgerstripe leaves the warrior's den the day after the battle, the sun has already rose. Sleeping in had become easy these days as her physical ability gradually began to wane. Running and climbing wasn't as easy as it once was, and she's more certain now than ever that maybe Flamewhisker was right about her refraining from battle.

Most of ThunderClan's healthy cats are already out and about this morning. Flamewhisker and Gentlestorm were away to speak with StarClan, and Badgerstripe can spy some warriors and apprentices working hard to clean up the camp. She, though, has no such intentions of working too strenuously, feeling heavy and sluggish - instead, she has a round of cats to check up on after the battle.. and maybe, more apologies to be made.

Palefire, again, is the first on her list. She spots the molly amongst the camp's workers and makes her way over, offering a small smile as her gaze is met. " Would you like to share a meal? " she invites, flicking her ears towards the fresh-kill pile. Her stomach growled at the mere thought. Perhaps her appetite is finally coming back, after what seemed like an eternity between illness and refusing Sleekserpent's offerings.

Once settled down, Badgerstripe watches her friend with keen interest. " How are you feeling.. after everything? " the queen asks gently, with a softened gaze. She feels it's best to avoid sympathy, in fear the fiery warrior might perceive it as pity - but she cannot help her concern. She thinks of Skyclaw - how close the two once were, Badgerstripe could've sworn they were about to become mates. The betrayal she felt must have been astronomical.. she could see it in her friend's eyes, from the start of their takeover all the way to the end.
