Jasperglare was in a sour mood. His body aches, his head hurt, and he felt horrible. He was just outside the medicine den, he'd rested gently on his paws.

Try as he might, he couldn't quite remember how he got here. Everyone was talking about a skirmish...And he remembered joining the fight.... But then what? He couldn't quite remember after a certain point.

The snow eased his aches a little, but it does nothing to soothe his mood. He coughed into his paws and groaned.

He was getting sick. He knew it. On top of having a wound on his face, he was very unsure about how leaf bare was about to treat him.

He heard the cough and his head poked out of his den with narrowed eyes and annoyance on his expression. Another sick cat, another ailment he wasn't sure would be deadly or not and thus another deciding risk to his clan and his backstock of herbs. This didn't sound too bad but he was quick to trot out and find the source anyways, never hurt to keep tabs on a cat to make sure their coughing didn't become something much more lethal.
His mismatched gaze fell on one of the newer rogues that joined, loud fellow and was named Jaspergaze or something-admittedly he didn't pay much attention to the new group that came and the possibly violent cats Sootstar felt she needed to pad her ranks with. Most of them were so quiet he didn't even realize they were there thankfully.
With a sigh and a dour expression he made his way over on light steps, pausing before the tom near his den and regarding him with some skepticism and sympathy-half the time a cold could be fixed with a good meal and rest but they were sorely lacking on the former with the chilling winds and withering plants.
"How long ye had that cough?" He asked, wheat stem twirled in his mouth and whiskers quivering as he waited a reply.

Ah yes, the little guy that like....stays in the medicine den all the time.

"Couple days." He answered, lifting his head to look at Dandelionwish.

"Whenever your medicine cat gets back they can look at it. Nothing for you to worry about, pipsqueak."

He couldn't accept that this child was responsible for all these cats. It had to be a joke, right?

He let his head drop back into the snow. Sootstar was a great leader. Surely there was a reason for having someone so young have so much responsibility. A prodigy, perhaps.

"Ya sure aren't the brightest flower in the patch, are you?" a mrrow of laughter leaves Moth's mouth as she stops in her track, deciding not to mind her own business. She has no qualms with this man but finds it weird that despite the time he has been here, he has no clue who Dandelionwish was. Better than that other bleeding heart of a medicine cat, that's for sure, she was sure that if she were not exiled she would have abandoned the clan anyways.

Traitor.

"Looks like a mighty fine cut, boy." she gestures to the wound sitting upon the others face, barely stifling a laugh. "You're lucky if you're still on Dandelion's good graces after that." a sneer, ear flick, a warning to respect the kid thinly veiled. She sits down, thumps her tail against the ground and stares down the pair, eager to see what the medicine cat would do.
