— a rather striking young tom, Duckweedsplash bears the sleek yet muscular physique of a cat whos well suited for both swimming and climbing - with long but powerful limbs, webbed paws, and a short, water-slicked coat. his diet lends itself to a glossy appearance, well-maintained and tidy, hardly ever a hair out of place unless he's freshly emerging from the waves. he carries himself gracefully, movements and body langue loose and languid - as though there is never any hurry to get where he is going, as though life is effortless to him. squid ink coat paints a shadowy figure, as though he has stepped straight from the jaws of the night sky itself, and yet his coat is not as solid nor dark as it appears at first glance - the suns rays revealing a faint rosette pattern that ripples its way across his flanks, a barely-there impression of his birth mothers coat. ears curl dutifully up towards his skull, a rarity among his clanmates, while downturned green eyes and a near permanent half-smile give off an air of confidence.

• has a very close relationship with Hemlockshine and his other littermate, willingly obedient and practically hangs off his older littermates every word. genuinely believes that Hemlockshine only wants whats best for them, and does his best to return this care by doing as he's told.
• feels releif that Reedfang is dead, has likely caught on to the fact that Hemlockshine is faking his grief but believes it to be due to their negative feelings towards him rather then the more sinister truth. plays the dutiful son, is likewise pretending to mourn alongside his littermate. may be more demeaning towards a feminine aligning sibling due to his upbringing.
• views Herondive with a disillusioned sort of hrt, the knowledge that anything between them will always be false. there is a lot of bitterness he pushes down in order to keep up appearance, but even were his 'mother' to warm up to him now it's too little too late - he has no interest in her.
• has not put much though into his birth mother. should he ever be approached, she is likely to be viewed as a victim in need of saving - he sees a lot of himself in her situation, believing her abandonment of them to be wholly reedfangs fault. will likely be patronizing and demeaning towards frostbreath without meaning to, but feels a distant sort of fondness for her as his 'parent' and would be tentatively willing to reconnect (unless hemlockshine told him otherwise).
