Not much earlier, Evergreenpaw had finished her assignment for the day and decided to take a rest. However, it seemed the moss in her bedding was getting old, so she figured it was time to replace it with something more fresh. In the heat of Greenleaf, she much preferred to have cleaner bedding, as it made her feel more comfortable. Not only that, but tidying up her next gave her something to do to wind down and relax before she actually did rest.

Returning with her new moss after removing the old, she murmured softly as she returned to her spot. "Okay, let's make this neat and comfy."

It seemed almost all the other apprentices were still out training or doing their duties. She was fine with that - it gave her some time to herself. With a determined nod, she began to get to work on prettifying her nest.

Cleaning his nest is a habit sleekpaw takes pride in, something he does every single day when he wakes up without fail. Sometimes, it takes more effort - like a full changing of the moss and feathers. Othertimes it's as simply as preening it, kneading it with soft paws until she feels it is just the right shape and size for comfort. Today is hardly any different - though blue eyes widen when they realize they are not alone. He watches for a moment, hovering towards the entrance, moss at his paws all but forgotten. Evergreenpaw seems busy doing exactly what she'd planned for herself - and curiosity gets the better of her. Light paws carry her forwards, peering at her work. "You keep your nest very clean," he notes absently, voice hushed. She likes that - clean is best after all.

• — a small and effeminate apprentice with pale pinkish cream fur and baby blue eyes. sleekpaw comes across as quiet and aloof towards most, though he shows a softer side around the nursery queens and his mentor. she seems to care little for anything outside of training, apprentice duties, and her appearance. they seem strangely silent on the topic of borders however, and even shiftier about anything concerning cross clan relationships.
