Joy bursts forth in her chest, and it's all she can do not to charge forward and tackle the child into a hug. She restrains herself only because she knows her kits are still unfamiliar to her. It was a shame that children can't be easily assuaged with loving words - instead, Ebonylight needed to earn her kit's love. Ugh, the fact made their teeth grit with anger. Still, they maintain their smile as they wait for the little one to approach. "You've gotten so big...the last time I saw you, you were barely opening your eyes...I missed you" he purrs, eyes soft as he lifts a paw, longing to stroke his little cheek but patient enough to await permission.
