Once again, the teenager found herself trapped in camp without her mentor in sight. That was okay, though. She could keep learning how to become the best decorator of all the clans because there couldn't be anyone better than here with her creative mind! A chocolate-striped tail swipes side to side as she immerses herself in weaving small reeds together with the occasional assistance of a tooth or claw. A familiar distance in her peripheral catches her attention and a big smile traces her lips, ” Midnightpaw! ” Mothpaw calls out as her bushy tail pats the area beside her for the other she-cat to join her. It was always nice to have company, after all!

A hazel gaze twinkles as she focuses intently on the black and red feline, ” How was your day today? Anything interesting? ” She inquires thoughtfully, her gaze soft and warm for her friend. Despite the reputation and rumors of Midnightpaw, the slightly older apprentice was always nice to be around. She had just lost her mom not too long ago, and it was understandable if she acted out because she was dealing with grief. There was no way that her friend could ever be like the rumors said. After all, she was too sweet to her.

જ➶ Exhaustion sits heavily in her paws. Battle training having really strained her today but she is so close. She can taste the freedom and her warriorhood. Her mind is ablaze with that singleminded need. And even with her mother gone she feels like she can still hear her taunting in her ear. How worthless she is, how she does everything wrong. No, she can be something and she can prove it to herself. Her paws press against the ground before she arches her back in a stretch that causes a shudder to ripple along her spine. But then a voice calls out to her and she snaps her gaze toward Mothpaw. A gentle softening in those angery ambers before she allows the ghost of a smile to pull at her muzzle. Stepping over lightly she plops down beside the other, looking at the crafts before she presses a paw against one in thought. It has occured to her before but she normally always sees Mothpaw in camp. "Not really. Did some serious battle training through. Now I'm all sore." Her tail flicks back and forth, a question on her lips before she goes for it.

"Anything interestig with you? Your mentor took you out right?" Training is the key to becoming a great warrior. It's what she strives for but she is confused with all the time that Mothpae seems to spend trapped in camp. Doesn't she want to go out into the territory?

Midnightpaw settles next to her and Mothpaw gives a toothy grin, rubbing her cheek against the others. ”No wonder you're all muscular and strong! I can give you a massage if it helps with the soreness?” She inquires as her tail swishes happily to spend some quality time with her friend. Her hazel gaze shifts back to the reed that she weaved carefully for replacing older reeds in the dens that needed to be replaced. Moth always enjoyed camp, even though she knew it would be better out in the territory with the other apprentices. Midnightpaw seems to want to ask her something, and she makes eye contact again with a gentle smile.

Anything interesting with you? Your mentor took you out, right? The question makes her smile falter nervously. ”I replaced a decent amount of the broken parts of the elder's dens, and listened to their stories.” Mothpaw would state which was proudly the most interesting thing that's happened today and she had fun doing it as she helped the elders and got to listen to interesting tales. ”Erm.... no-yes...” She chokes awkwardly, dealing with the guilt of having to lie to her friend and also protecting her mentor from being scolded.
