camp FAST AS THE WIND // stealing food

There was many reasons why he didn't like to go outside. Firstly, the sun was too bright. It hurt his eyes. Secondly it was because of how loud it was. Hurt his sensitive ears. Too mouch noices and not even half of the time he could detect where it come from. There was many reasons more, the list could keep on going for the whole day if he would ramble up all of the reasons to why he had made the promise to never step a paw outside the nursery. The major and biggest reason though was because of the other existing lives out there. Too many cats, to many faces and eyes that could look at him, He...just didn't like it. Why couldn't everyone just be blind for instead?. Having a none existent face...beside him and moma of course!. Would have made it far more easier. Unfortunately no one cared what he wanted. Too much to 'demand' whatever that meant. Who needed eyes anyway, beside him and moma.

Anyway...that was why Miskit had swore to never go outside and it had been over a months time now since he had got brought in here by moma Buck, and he had still not broken that promise. It never would happen. He was too stubborn to let anyone change his mind. Once he had decided on something that was how it was gonna be!, and...and....

Mistkit was found outside.

He might only be outside of the nursery den, but he for the first time since arriving here was outside into the big terrifying and monsterous world breaking his own vow. But not without his feather. Mistkit had it carried with him stucked safely inside of his mouth. There was no way he was going anywhere without it. The feather was his only friend, his emotional support. Why was he outside though?. It was not because he was ready to face the world, all its monsters and cats but because he had found something very delicious not that far away from the nursery. He had been staring at it forever inside the safety of the den hoping someone would pass by to give him the red and fluffy prey on the ground. But no one had come and the kit had grow impatient. It wasn't that far away. Maybe he could actually do this. Just staring at the squirrel was making his mouth drool. He really wanted it and so he had decided to be brave!.

He could do this as long he was doing this fast and quick!. He would be so fast no one would even notice he had gone outside!. Mastermind plan. Sometimes he could be so smart. Moma Buck would be proud of him later when he told her the story how he had conquered mountains, and swimmed for miles facing all the monsters just to get the squirrel. Maybe he even would share it with her if he felt generous enough. That was something to think about later. Right now he needed to focus. This was between life and death!. He could not screw this up.

Mistkit grapt a tight hold of the feather in his mouth, and after having cast a quick glance to his right and then his left to make sure it was safe for him to sprint forward. With the decision it was safe enough the kit did the most bravest thing anyone in this entier world had ever seen!. He left the safety of his home to run into the danger of the world to collect the squirrel that only lay five cats away.

He run like the flash itself! in other words like any clumpsy kit who hadn't found the balance would do! (he even tripped once or twice) and he had his eyes locked on the target. After having climpt mountains and swam over the ocean he finally had arrived to his food source! (it had only taken max ten seconds to get there....) and now he needed to be super quick. So he grapt the squirrels tail (still with the feather in his mouth) and he was ready to carry it back to his hideout!. No one could stop him now!.

// so mist saw a dumped squirrel in camp not far away from the nursery so decided to try to steal it <33 feel free to be the cat Mist tries to steal thier food from xD

*:・゚✧☁ ⋯ Gloomkit had been caught off guard, her squirrel abandoned momentarily in favour of scratching at her ears. Ever since being brought to RiverClan, the itchiness that came with bugs were treated by weird-smelling plants. She'd tried to lick the ointment off her minor wounds, but the bitterness became too overwhelming to continue.

Still, she'd been told to leave the pastes alone, which only made them more irritated. In her annoyance, the sound of quick pawsteps approaching doesn't register in her mind. The gray mink didn't realize she'd been preoccupied until the squirrel was entirely missing!

"Hey!" she barked, leaping to her feet despite not knowing who the suspect was. "That's mine!" Boring a glare into every cat around, Gloomkit finally realized the culprit. Fur puffed out, she marched after her denmate, snapping at empty air as she tried to get ahold of the squirrel's paw. She never thought Mistkit would be a squirrel-stealer!

"Nothing better than having a day off, heh!" Crawlingroach let a soft purr rumble in the depths of his throat as he had a little stretch where he lay. Nothing could ruin it, nothing at all. Nothing. At. Al-... His ears pricked up sharply as he overheard Gloomkit's voice, and it didn't sound like it was anything good.

The warrior heaved a long sigh before he rolled onto his paws and stood up before making his lazy approach towards the kits. "Hey, hey, settle." He aimed to bring his paw down upon the squirrel's body, intending to pin it to the ground so neither kit could take it for themselves. He hoped it would stop the squabbling before things could escalate. Plus he just wanted the camp to return to peace and quiet so he could just relax. "Now what's happening here? And have you two ever heard about this lovely thing called sharing? It's amazing, you should try it. It's way better than snatching, stealing, and bickering."

Beesong nearly loses his footing as a kit dashes by, paws stumbling to avoid stepping on the bumbling child. The herbs he'd been carrying flutter from his mouth as he lets out a small, "Woah."

With a huff and a shake of his head, Beesong stares after the child for a heartbeat before he focuses on gathering up the herbs again. It isn't until an indignant exclamation of, that's mine, that Beesong looks back up. Mistkit is trying to flee with a squirrel, presumably Gloomkit's meal, while Crawlingroach tries to settle the dispute. Beesong snorts. "Plenty of prey on the fresh-kill pile."

They don't stop to consider that maybe Mistkit doesn't like fish, which takes up a majority of RiverClan's fresh-kill. To Beesong, food is food. Fighting over a squirrel when there's plenty of options is foolish.

GOT A HEAD FULL OF SPIDERS

Frostpaw had just got back from hunting when there was the sound of bickering and an attempt from Crawlingroach to settle the dispute, Beesong's herbs nearly scattered everywhere as they begin picking them up neatly, and Frostpaw held a plump fish in her jaw, thinking it would be nice for Raccoonpaw and anyone else who was healing in the medicine den to have some. Blinking she padded over before placing the fresh-kill down while her tail flicked calmly. "Perhaps I can get you something? Maybe hunt down a fresh squirrel that would be still warm?" she said offering the idea to Mistkit.

If Gloomkit did not wish to share, she might as well put in a mini-lesson inside of what she offered, sure it might be a hard thing to do but... eventually you will have to there shouldn't be arguing over fresh-kill, by the time leafbare was upon them they will be forced to share since prey will be more scarce than before. "Unless you both agree to share, mayhaps I'll throw in a treat and try and find a rabbit for you both" her whisker twitch in the amusement, hoping she was not making the situation any worss.
