SH calico with green eyes and big ears
A lithe kitten, they stand at a slightly below average height for a WindClan cat. Their Calico coat has a bracken like marking along their spine that cuts abruptly at the base of her tail. Brackenpaw carries a short pelt, curling in tufts near her cheeks and lower chest. Otherwise she is rather sleek. Their pelt is made out of black, tangerine gingers and white. Noticeable patterns on her coat includes the orange crescent moon markings on her eyes and along her spine is a black marking that carries a strong resemblance to the bracken fern. Their eyes are an olive colour that borders the line on being just too yellow, always narrowed as she is rather judgemental towards others or assessing their surroundings.
Her ears are too large for their head, they will think that they will grow into them but as the moons stretch on and no difference has been made she is left feeling insecure. It's not abnormally large, just enough to be noticeable which they find rather frustrating. She carries herself with confidence and that oozes in her movements, she thrives physically and knows her place where she walks.

Brackenpaw is a child without purpose and being raised in neglect from her parents. She wrongfully chooses to blame the clan and it's higher ups for this resulting in a lack of care or respect for authority. She is polite enough to not be in trouble all the time but it is common knowledge that they dislike those who has a rank up higher than her. They're not really one to mince their words either, letting those know when they upset her. Despite being blunt with those around her she tries to have a softer touch around kits. Not that she thinks they're exempt from her opinions, she just tries to have a softer approach to it.
They're quite guillable, not believing others can lie to them and a little too trusting when someone wants to form a friendship with her. They're rather blunt and have quite high emotional walls so she believes someone when they put in the effort to continuously interact with her. Above all else they care deeply, that care extends from family and friends to the betterment of the clan. While they don't agree with the authority figures of WindClan she wouldn't think twice before begrudgingly setting these grudges aside to help the clan against threats. They're rash in decisions so not all choices made for the clan are for the best but she will believe in her heart that they're doing all they can to help, that selflessness can border on being reckless of their own wellbeing.

Backstory / simplified history
Born to two WindClan Moor runners with a lot of her developing months being during the height of the tension between Sunstars rebels and Sootstars loyalists. Brackenkit's parents are rather neglectful in these important periods for the kit, stressing about what they deemed to be more important things regarding Windclan's politics. They had mostly been taught to grow up independently, this forced independence has fostered a negative outlook towards the higher ranks of Windclan that she is learning to navigate as she enters apprentice hood.
