.°☀ I'll believe it all

The noises around them were so loud, so incredibly loud, and they didn't know what to do. All they could do was push back up against cold metal in hopes of not being seen. Paws found their way over a torn ear and a pointed one, eyes shut tightly to shield from the panic that settled outside the one exit. The cries of cats begging to be set free, some silent and others' threatening the twolegs with hisses and spits. Though the scent of fear was the only thing in that room besides the stench of twolegs, and they could feel sheen start in deep green eyes.

This wasn't right.

They shouldn't be here right now. Had something gone wrong? Had they done something wrong to make this happen? It was untelling, and the young tabby cat was so afraid. Petrified. They would come back right? Thay had to come back. What happened to be their babies? To being their little Nanabonana? The memories of their twolegs entered their mind and they sniffled in response to it and pressed further into the metal cage. They use to sing to them, carry them around and take them places. What happened to all of that? Surely this was a mistake! Maybe they where being boarded for vacation? That was a thing right?

It had been days, though.

Bananasplash gave a sniffle once more and hunkered down further into the corner, trying to diseappar. Hoping, praying, to whatever beings out there could hear her that they would be okay. That they would be safe. That Skyclan was coming to get them right? That was what they had talked about. What was between cries and aggression, there was conversation in the noise. A few days ago she had been on a patrol that was just outside the shelter, so she knew they where coming but when? How? There was too many questions to be answered and she burrowed her face into her paws with a threatening sob.

She wanted to go home.

DARK BLUE, DARK BLUE, HAVE YOU EVER BEEN ALONE IN A CROWDED ROOM?

Quill had lost track of exactly how long he'd been kept caged behind metal bars. Surely it had been at least a month by now, and while he had faith that Skyclan would come, he was started to get mad. A month was more than enough fucking time to get a plan together. Hell, the days that had passed since the patrol had found them had been enough time to get something together. What the hell was taking them so long?

He was definitely going stir crazy.

A part of him blamed Thistleback. Quill would have been perfectly content sitting here doing nothing, staring at a wall for the rest of his goddamn life before the tom had come into his life and made something out of him. Now the chimeras paws were restless, his mind finding this entire thing too boring, and he longed for the familiarity of the pine forest.

The only thing that kept him from going completely fucking insane was the fact that he wasn't alone. Oddly enough, the silence probably would have killed him despite the fact that the noise was only barely better, tolerable only because it allowed him to find the most mild comfort in listening to others talk. Sometimes he'd talk to his clanmates, but more often than not Quill was stalking around his cage or glaring hatefully at a wall, just listening.

That's what he was currently doing, when he heard a sad sniffle from the cage beside his. It wasn't the side that Twitch was on, but the side Banana was on. He knew she was dealing with a lot, not just being kept in this shitty place but because it had been her own twolegs that had left her there. Quill knew that feeling well enough, of being unwanted by those who were supposed to want you most.

"When we finally get out of here we can go pay your twolegs back for this if you want- what do you think they'd hate more; if we clawed their furniture to ribbons or pissed all over it?" he asked as he made his way over to lay against the wall closest to her, up by the door so his voice could fall into her cage. There was an underlaying tone of humor there meant to try and cheer her up, but he'd totally fucking do it if she wanted him to.

Those assholes could rot for making her feel like this.

.°☀ I'll believe it all

Green gaze moved to the wall beside her as Quillstrikes' voice drifted from the other side of it and she couldn't help the rather light laugh that left her maw. He always knew how to make her feel a bit better even in the most dire of circumstances. Bananasplash reached a paw out through her cage door for his own with her claws snagging on the metal as she tried to grip it, "I wish you could've been there- for my warrior ceremony," She admitted softly with a glance down. They all should've been there for it. Daisyflight, Snowpaw, Butterflytuft and so forth all should've bare witness to their warrior ceremony, "I missed you for it,"

She offered a meek smile but she knew it couldn't be seen from where she was right there. The young warrior flicked her tail back and forth quietly for a moment before shaking her head, "I just want to go home, ya know?" She spoke softly, her voice barely a whisper, and sniffled once more in response. She never in her life thought she'd miss the muddy and dirty world of the forest. That she'd wanna see Dawnglares insane face or hear Blazestars voice call out for a clan meeting one more time.

But what was home now? Was Skyclan now her offical home? Bananasplash wasn't sure about that as she had always been a cat of two worlds. One paw in the twoleg world and a paw in the wild- that was how she made it work for almost two years now. Now she was forced into one world and it terrified the crap out of her. Could she be a full warrior of Skyclan? Could she fulfill something like that so easily? She didn't know but she was at least not alone in her endeavors as she had Quillstrike, Chrysalispaw and Pigesonsong. So it shouldn't be too scary right?

"Do you think we'll get out of here?" She asked curiously, her voice raising slightly but it cracked with her unshed tears.
