She's exceptionally pleased with herself. Not only was it fun, this find gave her a reason to come and talk to her uncle - but only after checking with Little Wolf that it was alright to do so and that no, she wasn't disappearing to try and follow Howlingstar on patrol again (this time). With no need to duck her head to fit into the fern tunnel just yet the little tortie races in with her chin and tail held high, led by a muzzle half smothered in white strands of web.

"Berryheart! I found a cobweb, look!" She interrupts, with absolutely no thought on whether or not she was intruding on something important. She bounds up to the tortoiseshell, green eyes glittering with excitement. While she'd made a habit of annoying her uncle in the moons she'd been mobile, it wasn't always often she got to come in and give him something useful. "Looook!"

He had grown used to that hurried footfall of tiny paws, Dapples wayfaring over, fire in her approach... but a warming kind, rather than a destructive sprawl of flame. Over time she had seemed to seek his company more than other members of their family- so much so that any patients within the walls of the medicine den had become accustomed to her as a package deal with treatment. Her company was never something Berryheart had complained about. It had always been his goal to be found fascinating, and... though it was perhaps not his knowledge she sought, it was still a start. The tinies spark of fulfilment that his path of medicine had dragged him a little further away from.

"So you did," he murmured, humoured. Calico features often stood stony, unreadable... but with the amount of time Dapples spent near him, she'd likely be able to recognise a small smile upon his long-broken jaw. "Where?" Had she strayed from camp? Got them off someone else? Or was there a dark nook in camp that, in the likely-bored mind of a child, had been uncovered through feverish exploration?
