Today, Erminekit was bored. What else is new? There's very little to do for kits, it seems, aside from generally being the best part of Clan life (you're welcome, WindClan, life would be so very dull if Ermine wasn't there to liven things up for you!!). So, young tomkit hatches a plan. It's brilliant, it's exciting and it involves just one other soul. Getting him to participate shouldn't be difficult, who could resist Ermine, after all?

"Nightkit!" He announces, bounding up to the other kitten with an energy in his steps that's never gone away once - or so it might appear. "We're playing a game!" A demand, Nightkit has no choice in this matter. Ermine will make him play even if he has to drag him along by the ears. "I get to be Sunstar! You're gonna be Scorchstreak - my deputy!! And it's time for a border patrol, let's go, let's go!!" There's energy radiating off every bit of the kitten, excitement at this brilliant new game idea, mischief in his eyes.

Nightkit sat alone with his own thoughts when his name got called out suddenly, demanding the kit's attention. It was more so, that Nightkit wonderd who had called out to them. Turned out it was Erminekit, that loud kit from the nursery. He was about to open his mouth to say something back, but the other kit was quick to interupt and explain why he was here. A game?. Nightkit looked absolutely unfazed. It might be the first time another kit had invited him to play with them but that was hardly something prioritized on his list of things he wished to do. " I will pa-" He was not even left with any room to reply. Erminekit had already made up thier mind and clearly his opinion didn't matter...At this point it was easier to just give in instead of arguing or protest.

In defeat, Nightkit stood and begin to follow the other kit. So the game was to play leader and deputy?. Nightkit did not even find any issue with Erminekit getting to decide who gets to play which role. It was easier to follow than to lead anyway. " Where are we going?." he asked, unsure how to begin this game he had got forced into. Hopefully this game wouldn't get dragged out to long.

"Ummmm..." Erminekit thinks about that. Where were they going? The only places that they could go in camp, so their options were a little limited. "Oh! Let's go check out the horse place! That's the warrior's den!" He adds the last part in as a whispered hiss before darting off, not bothering to wait for Nightkit.

Skidding to a halt, Erminekit peeks his head into the den and blinks at the sleeping warriors before turning to his 'deputy' with a grin. "The horses are sleeping! Quick, check for threats or rogues!"

Horse place?. Nightkit titled his head at that, confused, until Erminekit gave an explanation better for the kit to understand. The warriors den where the horse place now?. Maybe they were supposed to pretend. He suppose that made sense. Aha, wait, where had the other kit gone?. Nightkit blinked having spaced out and not realized that Erminekit had left and not did it took long for them to find them outside of the warriors den. It didn't took him long to catch up to them and soon Nightkit had fallen in lead behind them again.

He soon got instructed to do something in this game. With a short nod Nightkit started to look around at camp again obviously already knowing no rogues would be seen inside of camp, neither any threats. Nightkit was not exactly sure what he was suppose to do now, this type of game is not something he would choose to play normally. But he had to come up with something, right?. That was then he find something.

" Sunstar look, a snake." He called them correctly by the name they where going under in this game and pointed a paw at the direction where he had find a worm that had crawled itself up to the surface in a mud of dirt just some few paw steps away from them. Nightkit blinked his eyes back at Erminekit, waiting for a sign if he had done good, or what next would happen in this game.
