The scarred perma queen would keep herself busy with tasks that were set by herself, responsibilities that other perma queens did to keep her mind busy. distracted from pain she felt inside. head counting, talking with the kits in a low murmur of honey, answering their questions that seemed never ending. as the sun started to lower, her fluffy pelt would find herself coralling some of the kits to return to the nursery, until a voice interrupted her pawsteps.
"evening! have a nice day today?" blue gaze fell upon the apprentice, a smile tugging on her lips. "Oh- uh, yeah! Actually, it is nice." She purred, her gaze falling upon a kit sniffing closer to the medicine cat den, eyes peering in with their curious gaze. "Oh, d-darling, come away from there!" Lilacbird chided, in a gentle tone, before another queen came to the rescue upon noticing. With so many kits, it was hard for one to solely be responsible. And she didn't mind, ever.
The lilac tortie pulled her attention back to the apprentice, feeling bad for the split attention she was giving the other. "It- it is nice... t-to socialize," She agreed. With all the flooding, the injuries, and leafbare encroaching, it put a damper on too much relaxation. Though she always tried to take this time of day to herself, she would be sad to admit she didn't always get it. She was a busy body, and her gaze fell to the horizon. "It-its my favorite t-time of day, wh-when the sk-skies gl-glow purple," She purrs.
Her gaze falls upon the apprentices blue gaze as well, dropping it down to look at her paws. "D-did you learn anything interesting t-today?" She asked, her eyes glancing to the other queens before back to the skies. She had a feeling for the moment, she was stuck here. Coincidentally, isnt that what she did to Lichenstar, so long ago?
