It's here! The day is finally, finally here—the newly christened @TWILIGHTPAW is joining him in the apprentices' den. Coltpaw doesn't think he could be happier. Of course, he's been super happy to be an apprentice, and Stormywing is a great mentor, but … it has been kinda lonely.
The other apprentices are nice but not as nice (or cool) as Twilightpaw, plus he doesn't see them all that often. He keeps himself busy when he guesses the rest of them are relaxing—after all, he still has to prove his worth in the Clan. He can't just be lazing around all the time, after all. And he sees Mottledpaw a lot, but every time he looks at Mottledpaw, he thinks about the fact that if she had her way, his head would probably be on a stick somewhere right about now.
So, suffice to say, he's really glad Twilightpaw is finally here. And just like when they (or he, mostly he) always talked about when they were kits—they'll have their nests side by side! They can wake up and maybe talk a little before they go out for their separate duties, and maybe he can wheedle Stormywing into some joint trainings … it'll be perfect, he's sure of it.
" Hey, Twi! " he chirps, bounding over to the other apprentice. He's looking around the den, presumably picking where her nest is going to go. Coltpaw grins and mrrows, " My nest is right over there! We can put ours next to each other, yeah? "
