♚ For such a stoic woman, she sure did soften up a bit when in the face of kits wanting to have fun. Perhaps it was because of her own kits that she'd grown weak to such things, or perhaps the change in her views. Hyacinthbreath was a bit more willing to spend more time with her children now that she wasn't paranoid about her position. As long as she kept to herself, and didn't start any drama with the others, she was safe. She feels a pin-prick against her tail, snapping her out of her thoughts as she lifts her head; half-expecting someone to have stepped on her tail.

Though, what it was in reality was a kit biting her tail, twisting and turning with it in their mouth. Hyacinthbreath huffs softly, fighting back the urge to fling the kit off like a tick latched onto her; but she figured Moonshadow and Pollenfur- no, Dandelionwish would probably rip her ears off. So instead, Hyacinthbreath gives a toothy grin to the kit; menacing despite her good intentions.

"You're a fierce one. Pickin' a fight? I might just lose." She jokes sarcastically, making her tail wobble violently beneath the kit(s). Rile them up more, she supposed.

"Turn A Deeper Blue"
The cold seemed to grow stronger with every passing day, and Rune wondered if it could get as cold as the mountains did. Up there snow stood higher than a cat did, the chill froze most water sources and prey was harder and harder to find. Though here brought hope. Windclan brought hope that his siblings would be fed, that things would be easier here than it was in the mountains. Then again, it was only a hope as well. The dual colored tomcat had walked into camp after his patrol and looked around at the clearing for a moment. Everything was so peaceful right then. Like things weren't falling apart at the seams and it was truly going to be okay.

Amber and lilac hues drifted over to a pale tabby cat sat with a kit attacking her tail, and he couldn't help the little laugh that left his lips. Hyacinthbreath wasn't what one would call a kit-person, but she seemed to try her best. She was great with Aspen and Wisteria, even threatened him over Periwinkle, but she seemed to rather enjoy herself? What was she up to now that she was no longer a lead warrior? Rune gave a small tilt of his head before heading on over to the femme and the kit that was brave enough to attack.

"Careful, you might become their next catch," He mused as he approached and swished his feathery white tail, "Kit claws are like tiny razors- they could cut through a rock if tried hard enough," A bit of an exaggeration but it was fine.

Oh, golly! Two of his best friends in the very same place! What luck!

Mousebrain strides up to the pair, purring up a storm. They're two of his very best friends, after all. To really emphasize how much they were super extremely his best friends, Mousebrain finds himself fondly recalling on some of their most intimate moments: Hyacinthbreath had looked at him once, actually looked at him—yes, you heard that right, her eyes had actually landed upon him—and Rune had once sat in the same camp as him for a meal! Actually sat down in the same camp! That doesn't just happen every day! Well, technically it does happen every day because there's only one camp and everyone sits in it. But that's not the point!

The point is that Mousebrain is so lucky to be blessed by such friendship.

"Hey, besties!" he says jovially. "Well, you two sure are having a grand old time, huh? How are the kittens?"

He notes Rune's warning and nods quite seriously toward Hyacinthbreath.

"Yes, watch out," he affirms. "I can't lose another best friend to the sharpness of kitten claws... I just can't. My best friends are all I have in this life. Please stay safe."

Mousebrain grins at them both. "On a happier note, it's nice to hang out with two of my best friends at once! Especially with such delightful little company! Deadliness aside."
