The Story... ★Rules ★Genetics and Kitten Information

  • A BOUQUET OF LIES
    Petaltail is a Queen of ThunderClan who has a cross clan relationship with Mintstream of RiverClan, she naively believes she can get away with keeping it after the new code made by Emberstar at a previous gathering is established and so she continues on seeing her lover despite knowing how wrong this is.

    Eventually she ends up pregnant shortly after the Sunningrocks incident where ThunderClan claimed the territory and she realizes that now due to the tension in the air between their clans she won't have much hope to see him as often as before.

    Another blow comes when her kittens are born looking so much like him she knows in her heart she can’t keep them apart and so during the next gathering she has a trusted apprentice go to deliver the message to him to meet her at the border of their clans by the two-leg bridge with the intent for them to elope with their children somewhere they can be together.

    Then something happens…no one is sure what. But when the two border patrols come across the kits sitting in the middle of the two-leg bridge, the scents of both their clans and the missing parents they were out searching for linger but neither parent is around and the three kits are left abandoned.
    Both clans have a rightful claim to these kits, it's very clear who their father is and what clan he is from yet they were born and named in ThunderClan.

    During this application this plot will begin with the conflict thread and by the end two kits will be going to one clan and one to another depending on who wins the argument between them.
    It is dependant on which leader/clan they go to whether they’ll find out about their half-clan origins at any point!


  • Form is a free-for-all. Please include the basics although the appearance & vague name idea is supplied for you.

    This is not FCFS! New members are welcome to apply and I would prefer people who are committed to carrying a character/plot longterm.
    If you go inactive with the kit I hold the rights to rehome them if you don't communicate with me and this includes the art supplied with them-if you bought additional art I'll happily buy it from you.

    • The kittens have pre-existing designs/color theme and will come with a mini-ref and icon (icon to be made or commissioned later.)
    • They can be any gender.
    • The names can be altered if desired but only to a different flower that fits the color theme for the kits. Info is on the Genetics & Kitten Information tab.
    • Please state which clan you would be interested in them going to in your application as well as if you're okay with the other as a possibility: a yes or no.
    • These kits must stay in their clan until they are warriors-the entire point of the plot is for tension and struggling with being seperated and raised apart.
    • They will be aged real time on the (date here) of each month. They will start at 1 moons.

    I'm also looking for someone to have played the apprentice who delivered the news about the border meet-up, existing character is fine and they can struggle with the secret/guilt or confess to it depending on how you want to handle that.

    Both parents are missing, the secret of their disappearance may never be revealed and as far as the clans are concerned they are dead. Neither parent has other family in the clan as both came from loner backgrounds before joining their respective groups.

ROSEKIT: he / him; male – fawn sepia with low white and copper orange eyes.
rose will be a cat of thick but sleek fur. thanks to his Riverclan origins, it makes him appear bigger than he actually is and given the nature of things he will have webbed toes that gives him some excelling at the possibility of swimming. His face though will be slightly angular and ears sharp. His coat is that of a fawn sepia, soft and rather creamy with a thick plumage of a tail. All four of his paws are lightly dipped in pearl white giving a high contrast to how dark his legs gradiate to before quickly lightening up. The most striking feature on him is his haunting and seemingly always angry looking copper orange eyes.

Calculative, Stoic: mostly because of learning about his background and history the tom will harbor a deep seeded anger towards his parents and maybe even his own clan. especially when they effectively separate him and his siblings from one another. because of this he will be a true troublemaker at heart often doing things to spite others or just saying mean things to see others squirm or even avoid him. A true bully to the core he will cause issues and even squirm his own way out of things as he can be a convincing liar. rather he ends up in river or thunderclan will determine his outlook on his siblings. If he ends up with a sibling he will make sure to always protect them no matter what. Being the shield to force others away and onto himself. He will never allow anyone to harm them or he will make sure to do so to them tenfold. Their sibling is all that they have and he won't sit and let them be taken or harmed. If he ends up without any family he will be a malicious thing, guarded but working diligently till the day he is a warrior and can make choices for himself on where he wants to me. Always pushing the bounds. Even so he will always be loyal to those that are nice to him (even if he bullies them into it). Confidence will ooze out of him and he will never back down from a challenge, always doing his best and standing above the crowd.

DAFFODILKIT: she/her; AFAB, sexuality undecided (she's baby) – Although one day she will grown into her features, Daff will always be a small and slender cat. She possess thick yet sleek fur, its length making her seem larger than she is as a young cat. Daffodil is a fawn tortoiseshell with her markings broken up by large swathes of white. Her eyes will eventually turn a gold-yellow colour when she's older, almost mirroring the colour of her namesake.

— Standing no more than 5 inches tall and weighing in at almost 9lbs, Orchidkit is on the chunkier side of the spectrum. She is short and stout with broad shoulders and strong, short legs. Her coat is short haired with a beautiful pattern of fawn with darker patches on her legs, face and tail. White coats the tips of her toes and her nose is dusted with it as well. Orchidkit has these brilliant eyes that are the color of the orange sunset at twilight and there is flecks of yellow and lighter orange in her gaze as well.

— Orchidkit is someone who would be described as an absolute sweetheart. She is very warm and loving, though tends to bottle up her emotions that she deems as negative or unhelpful. She is reslient and loyal with a bit of a playful spirit. Orchidkit can be very stubborn however and tends to speak out of turn or when the adults are talking. She loves to share her ideas with others even if theyre crazier than Sootstar! This young cat can't raise a claw ever to anyone even if they did the worst thing possible to her. Orchidkit is also very gullible and can tend to believe anything anyone says even if its an outright lie.

APPEARANCE: A fawn tortoiseshell with high white and golden eyes.

With a stature that stands on the smaller side of average, Daffodilkit inherits a sleek but strong build from her half-clan ancestry.

Her smooth, thick fur is predominately a milky white, with fawn-hued patches splashed mainly along her back, tail, paws, face, in variating shades. A face with mismatched patches captures a golden gaze within it, yellow like the color of turning leaves in leaf-fall. A fluffy tail follows her wherever Daffodilkit goes, the longest of her fur in soft tortoiseshell plumes. Her paws, small and nimble, will aid in the skills of the clan she will call home - whether that be weaving reeds in RiverClan or weaving through oak trees in ThunderClan.

PERSONALITY: A determined young she-cat, Daffodilkit often carries herself in headstrong disposition. She has a stubborn streak and would rather work out a problem on her own within the frustration of trial and error than be told what to do - and is quick to be hard on herself if she can't figure out the solution before the answer is shared with her.

Daffodilkit is swift in including others in any games she plays, and wants to be friends with everyone, from the youngest kit in the nursery to the oldest elder in the elder's den. She inherits a tendency to collect things from her RiverClan lineage and will be seen bringing back trinkets from her moments outside of the nursery, and when she's older, outside of camp.

The she-cat tries her best to fill the void of those missing in her life with the faces of others and tries to keep herself grounded within the schedule of her day-to-day life.

NOTES: I don't have a preference for where she goes! Either way will be good for the drama, but I can choose if absolutely necessary!

APPEARANCE.​
➸ a fawn sepia w/low white. wide, copper/orange eyes.
➸ rosekit is a pudgy kitten with thick, dense fur. comparable to that of a hare in how soft it feels. their paws and a bit of their muzzle are the only white spots on their body, the rest covered in a red tinged coat. the fur around their cheeks, neck and tail are a bit longer than the rest and tends to curl toward their body. they appear a bit stout but loudly encourage the thought their legs will catch up with the rest of them quickly.

MENTALITY.​

rosekit is notably family-oriented, and remains close with all of those they consider family even if they don’t always get along. aware of the dangers they face, rosekit worries often for their safety and jumps at the chance to defend them from other clanners. blinded from seeing flaws in any of their family, including themself, rosekit tries their best to protect them from judgement and can become rather aggressive if it persists. as they grow older, they will try to maintain that protective role physically and behave almost like a third parent (often getting themself in trouble).

this may change one day as an adult, but for now rosekit is still a child. everything is still new and shiny, and they’re excited to explore every bit of the world out there. this is only heightened with their imaginative personality, coming up with outlandish adventures for everyone to go on. discovery itself is something rosekit is passionate about. each new season, new bug and new flower has something to offer. even if it’s the same dull weeds the warriors have seen for years; if it’s new to them they have to have it.

resourcefulness comes from their intense curiosity. although rosekit's doesn’t come in the form of finding herbs in hard places or prey when it's scarce, theirs comes in the form of information. with their desire to constantly be social, rosekit finds themself coming across vital information in everyone and everything. sometimes this curiosity comes off as being nosy, eavesdropping on conversations when they feel it’s interesting enough, but they always find a way to use it somehow. whether that be retaining new knowledge on their clan, surroundings, or way of living, or perhaps just dirt on another clanmate to gain a leverage, or whatever leverage a kit can achieve.

due to their perspective being abandoned, rosekit frequently sees themself needing to ‘prove’ their position in the clan. it may develop from typical apprehension at the discovery, and knowing their parents broke a sacred rule for them to even exist, and potentially develops into a physical drive to exceed their peers in any form; physically or mentally. they take anything as a challenge if they see it fit, taking even the smallest things as ‘wins’. such as who returns back to the nursery first before nightfall, or who finished their meal first. as an adult it develops more into challenging their peers even on outings, and can progress to become competitive with those in authority if it’s not corrected.

rosekit does have an issue with entitlement. this of course being a source of being left behind, rosekit believes they deserve more because of their unfortunate circumstance. as they socially love being the center of attention, and have a drive for being on top of everyone, if they don’t get their way it easily crumbles down to a tantrum. rosekit will often demand that they deserve something even if they never actively worked for it or asked politely, something that can be corrected as a child should any queens enact discipline on them. their primadonna attitude can cause their sociability to falter and become disrespectful or volatile to anyone surrounding them until they either get what they feel entitled to, or are sent to a strict timeout away from their friends and sibling(s).
