The art of fighting was much like a swan's dance to him. Claws as swift and controlled as if they scribbled through the air as a trail of ink, Chrysaliswing had learned much of the tango from a reluctant mentor. His style heavily relied upon using his back feet as a crutch, with adroit hands guiding the way to pluck through thick fur and break through tough flesh. Movements stood swift and sprightly, in the true nature of the clan of the skies. The warrior had certainly refined it after he received his name, and many scrapes and scars adorned a flame-flushed furcoat to show for it. Bloodlust could be gleaned, almost, to one who gazed too far into his abyss. Though, he certainly did not unsheathe his blades to kill - he still bore his honor to his heart. Still, the apprentices and the daylight warriors stumbled about like cygnets still fraught in soft down upon their cheeks and their bellies. Such a thought sent rives of disgust through feathery coat, like a pallid sort of static electricity. If they could not defend themselves against a mere cat, how would they survive against the wilds? The forests were harsher and much more unforgiving than he.

"The first and most important rule of fighting is to know how to respond in any situation." Towering shadow of a man, the longhaired feline gazed upon his opponent - none other than the scrappy Mint Julep. The smaller chocolate lynx point had more nimble feet, had more meteoric motion - but it was clear to Chrysalis that such potential had not been reached yet. Well, that what was their improptu training session was for. If the kittypet wanted to learn, then he would learn. "Now, as I do this, show me how you would respond." With an umbrage caused by no sort of happening except for the glowering machinations of his own poisoned heart, he quickly leapt for the other cat. Lofty footfall took no time in getting to their opponent. Deftly, too deftly, he swiped at Mint Julep's ear with sheathed claws - not enough to draw blood but certainly enough to leave a lasting impression of pain. Ears were a sensitive part of the body, too easily torn like stationery at the hands of chaos and crenation. "Too slow!" He hissed as he kept aiming for the ears. He barely gave the other any time to respond, which was his own fault.

He never claimed to be a good instructor, anyhow.
