At last, some warriors had pulled through- eagerly bounding up and down, saying they had found a beehive. So much honey had been poured down the throats of the ailed that Berryheart was certain he'd soon run out- it was as if a miracle from the stars had truly been granted. A grateful nod had been offered the warriors' way- they were sustaining the lives of the sick, indirectly. But... they had been quite the excitable kind, and not in the daring manner he needed from a mission like this. Giddy and youthful, rather than brave and passionate. Luckily there was a cat he knew very well who fit the latter criteria.
He had requested Clamours to take a walk with him, promising that it was toward something. When they approached the spot the warriors had described, Berryheart lowered his speckled tail to draw his niece to a stop at his side. It was the faintest sound, but if she listened very, very carefully... she too would be able to hear the buzzing of the beehive. It was most definitely nearby, though too risky to approach without a plan. "Are you afraid of bees?" he asked, explaining no further. Patient, expectant, he waited for her answer- though he imagined he knew what the answer was.
