LONER x KITTYPET, ADOPTED BY CLAYTHORN x OTTERBITE​

THEIR STORY: their mother was a loner who met the father when wandering the twolegplace. she spent a lot of time with him but didn't want kittens. and so, when she found she was pregnant, the loner decided that once they were born she'd find one of the clans she'd heard about and drop them there. they would undoubtedly take care of them for her, wouldn't they? riverclan warriors come across the kittens at the border and take them back to camp, where claythorn, a former rogue herself, takes them on as a chance of recompense for her existence.

RULES:
— applications are free-form, but they are not first come first serve. please include at least the basic information in your application.
— applications will close on august 24th.
— the thread where they're taken in will be on august 26th.
— the kits will be abandoned, then timeskip to two moons once the thread is completed. they will age on the 24th of each month.
— activity preference is at least five posts a month, though more is encouraged!
— if you cannot remain active, please contact myself, dallas, or poe and let us know. (this includes rehoming, vacations, breaks, etc!)
— it is preferred that the kittens stay in riverclan! this rule can be broken later on for big plots only, with communication with one of us.
— please try to stick to the naming list! names on the list are preferred over those not. others are only allowed so long as they are similar to those on the list.
— the kits may have illnesses/disabilities! please research accordingly if you do give them any!
— if you receive a kitten, it is preferred that they are not killed off right away, and live at least until apprenticeship before considering otherwise.

short & fluffy, snow-white with light pink eyes droplet is a tiny little thing, seemingly a runt... but with all of the life and energy that glimmers in their eyes, you can tell they're as happy as a clam, healthy. their fur is a pure-white ivory color with a coat that rolls wildly in the gentle wisps of breeze from camp; their face is somewhat narrow and upon it sits two dusty-rose colored eyes with just the slightest cloud over the pupils. an even expression sits upon their face that usually cracks in childlike glee.

dropletkit often has bright pink and purple flowers dotting their fur, but it tends to change.

( + ) curious, gentle ( / ) quiet ( - ) shy droplet is a quiet little thing, someone you could forget about if they were standing right besides you. they lack presence, but that doesn't mean they're not happy, not content. no- dropletkit could make something out of nothing with a large imagination and a knack to find the good in every situation. they don't have many

but they're curious, and albeit not often, it gets the better of them. they love to ask questions when curious about something and often may come off annoying with their quiet little "why?"s, but they do mean well. dropletkit craves to get a better understanding of the world, of emotions, and just various surface level things.

droplet enjoys silence and sitting in it; their favorite times are filled with silence and a peaceful day. they're content to play by themself or just watch others go by, listen to conversation not truly meant for them... but thats the fun part, isn't it?

A scrawny grey kit with stripes but is mostly white along his torso. His big glossy blue eyes are often filled with tears.
His ears are big for his small head so is his paws and tail hinting that he'll growing up to be a rather large cat.

— Minnowkit isn't one to boost or celebrate his accomplishments, preferring to focus on others. But he doesn't let others dictate his actions and makes decisions based on what his heart is telling him to do. Which can turn him into a crybaby since he frequently gets overwhelmed by decisions. Minnowkit can loosen his temper when he thinks others are acting inappropriately and wont forget how others act around him. (Even if the other person changes as they get older)

— Minnowkit has attachment issues and is very afraid of someone getting hurt and dying. Minnowkit will struggle to play fight letting other beat him up. Can forget to eat when he's worried. When someone is away and he is anxious he's prone to siting in one spot and wait until they return. Or follow someone around just to make sure they are safe. In Minnowkit's mind life is too short to be reckless.

— Minnowkit will struggle connecting with his peers being a 'goodie two shoes' and finding other kits to 'too childish' when in reality he just doesn't know how to not overthink everything. That doesn't stop him from loving the idea of being in love. Will often jump from crush to crush hoping someone will like him back.

— He is actually friendly and loves to talk but on occasion or with someone he doesn't know speaking can become overwhelming. As a result Minnowkit might stop talking and start fidgeting before eventually running away.
— I think it would be cute if Minnowkit had trouble speaking to his parents but so craved their attention. He has so much to say but can't do it, so he just enjoys being around them until he finds his words, then is very excited to talk like a sentence. To show his love, Minnowkit likes to give them gifts and bring back treasures from his day.

— As Minnowpaw learns how to swim he'll gain some confidence. Like his name suggests he's like a fish in the water and will be comfortable enough to stop letting everybody walk all over him. Learning to trust that others will keep themselves safe will be hard but Minnowpaw will get better.

As a warrior he'll have the mannerisms of an old man. Wanting to lounge around and be a helping hand and open ear to others. Still a hopeless romantic and afraid of getting hurt. Enjoying friendly competition from time to time.

⇾ his intellect will eventually get him into trouble, but that's just because he's a smartass. most of his stints with those older than him that end in a punishment of some kind are due to his adventurous nature. once he's old enough to be outside the nursery he'll be bounding for the camp entrance and i plan on having him figure out a way to sneak out and get into some heavy trouble due to it. might even include another of his siblings or even another unrelated kit.
