Sootstar was displeased, unhappy with her own clanmates. Unsure on who she could trust anymore. That did not settle well with him. If anything he wanted thier Queen to know that she still had him, and Sunsetbreeze would never break his vows to her. If he had to kill to get ride of every single disloyal lot in this clan then he would. Anything to keep Sootstar happy, anything to keep her name in grace. Perhaps he had been given a blind eye as well because he could have done more, done better. Sunsetbreeze realised that now. This constant inner conflicts but what could he really do when it was one of her own councils who was messing everything up?. He did not want to put her name in shame, to go up against those she claimed to trust the most. All he wanted was to please her, to keep himself in her good grace. But perhaps he needed to change. But how could he prove his devotion to her anymore than he already had?. Maybe this way was the start of it all.

" Sootstar, my Queen. May i have a word with you?. It's important." He had caught her after the meeting was over and she had just climpt down from the rock. " If i may have the permission to follow you to your den where no one can listen." his voice was hushed, trying to not draw attention to their conversation. Who knew who would listen, unwanted ears who did not belonged among them. Sunsetbreeze wanted to end it once and for all until only the most loyal and devoted warriors remained. Only the worthy ones deserved to watch the same stars as their Queen.

Sunsetbreeze was a new warrior, and while he had potential she had to confess she didn't expect much out of him. Not yet anyways. She's shocked to hear he speaks an audience with her but doesn't dismiss him, she's intrigued and bites the hypothetical hook he's casted. Silently she flicks a tail, follow and she walks to her den.

When they arrive, she settles down on her nest that was covered in tufts of rabbit fur, some hawk down she had plucked from their legendary hawk catch still remained on it. It was quite comfortable and provided further insolation to her nest, when she slept in her den and not out underneath the stars it sufficed in keeping her warm. A head dips to Sunsetbreeze, "This must be important if we have to be so secretive. What is it?" She opens up the conversation, her ears perking up to listen.​
