With... The flood, Sunningrocks, the early creep of Leaf-bare, things around here were sort of dreary. They had lost a lot of lives. A lot of them had been injured. They were hungry, a little cold; RiverClan was faring as well as it could but it seemed like challenge after challenge tested them all. It was a lot. To think about, to work through, and to process. Sunpaw wasn't exactly ever the most friendly of cats, but she's had to face a lot of herself lately. And something she had thought of long ago, back in the flood as well, was how she could probably name a lot of cats by name or by face, but that she didn't really know anything about them at all.
Sometimes not even their family. Not what they were good at. If they were reliable or not. She's really just gone through accepting RiverClan's hospitality, their life, their homes, without really giving much in return. It's one of many humbling thoughts. But even with those thoughts it's not as though she's going to suddenly turn into the world's most hospitable cat. But there are things she should be trying, can be trying. Least of all now when so many of them are stuck healing and bored around camp.
But the last thing she's going to do is interrogate people on their information. If she's going to do this, she at least has to make it less painful for herself as playing it off as something... less specific. "If you're bored, let's play a game," she calls casually, sitting herself down even as she flicks her tail nervously over her paws. "So.... I'm going to say two things that are true about myself, and one thing that's a lie. The next cat has to guess what my lie is, and give their two true things and one lie. We'll go around and, I guess whenever we decide that we're done or... whatever, we can say whether or not the other cat's guess about the lie was right."
Simple enough. Hopefully.
So with that, she takes a breath in. "I've had three names already. Salmon is my favorite fish. And... I've beaten Foxtail in a sparring match. That's three. What's my lie?"
