maybe... maybe this was a stupid idea. to try and talk to her right now. there was nothing wrong with their relationship, but what if she was busy? surely she had lead warrior things to handle. to do. anything other than dealing with the childish emotions of her son, who just was too much of a kitten. he didn't really deserve to be a 'paw, did he? he hardly could hunt. he froze up any time his mentor wanted him to fight. his nose was good, but what good was it if he was too tired to use it? he... just needed some encouragement.
"m...mama? are you... busy?"
he called out to her, tail tucked beneath him nervously. he just wanted to cuddle with her and take a nap right now. but he needed some of her words of comfort before he could think of doing that, even if he was swaying on his paws from exhaustion. why couldn't he have been named energykit or something?
